Heya fellas! In case you were wondering how we figured out the Photon Blast damages, we did it frame by frame with raw Primm Weapons at the shop. Also, Wired Lance has critical distance once the reticle turns orange. Credits to Blit_Wizbok for pointing that out!
The last 30 seconds of this video is the most clear and concise answer that I can find online about what subclass you should run on a hunter and I have looked for a long time LOL
i think if you can pull out all potential on sword (including Avanger), this weapon is pretty much cover all aspect. Dmg? yes. perfect block? hekyes. mobbing? dont mind if i do. counter? add some weak point (purple one) from teammates and 4 digit number is appear.
Twisting Zapper has the fastest activation of all 3 sword Pas so I use it as my emergency avenger parry but other Pas are definitely more damage as you have shown
No mention of war cry. Since it is the most unique skill hunter have. This is more like hunter weapon guide instead of hunter guide. Since sub classing hunter get most of it's skill already
My choice when choosing weapon, if it doesn't have block it just not my weapon of choice, Block is not parry almost every weapon have parry but only few have block like Katana or Sword. I am casual not going to stress over hitting that perfect timing one thing I hate is dying.
I just tested it a couple of minutes ago and they barely had a difference in damage output (Straga jump attack crit highest = 253 / Troi with Fixa Attack 5 = 251 - all raw with no enhancements). Troi De and Theseus only become viable if they have Fixa Fatale 5 in them since they compliment crit rates (base crit damage is 1.2) and are very cheap alternatives for end-game if you want to try out a weapon :D
What did you mean by, "You can also block a huge chunk of damage by holding down weapon action, given if you still have enough pp.", at 4:26? Guarding, and parrying, both don't require pp.
You can actually just reduce every incoming damage by holding down weapon action. As soon as you take the reduced damage, your PP gets reduced. Guarding and parrying doesn't require PP but the damage reduction does :D
@@WitcreamMedia yea, I brought this up with a hunter friend of mine and they explained it to me the exact same. I was going to come back and edit my comment but forgot. Thanks for the great video :)
Where did you get the info? Here's our test for each PB with raw Primm Swords and no Augments: Partizan: 178+173+201+1328+305 = 2185 Wired Lance: 52+51+56+49+55+48+61+55+64+63+54+64+57+411+436+454 = 2030 Sword: 67+76+73+80+81+69+73+74+77+80+69+77+76+69+78+79+73+482+518+559 = 2830 All hitting a level 12 Pettas Launcher
@@WitcreamMedia I should have said more dps. Google doc full of damage numbers generated by aonther team has a heirarchy of pbs ordered by dps fron top to bottom. #6 Wire lance: 3324 damage, 272 frames, 733 dps #9 Sword: 3640 damage, 330 frames, 662 dps for refrence #1 Twin Dagger: 2764 damage, 210 frames, 790dps
@@Kojiro3210 Ohhhh! So that's what you meant. Was shocked when I saw that Wired Lances dealing more damage XD Our team decided to not really think of the DPS since it's not part of the usual rotation and is mostly used during boss breaks but yes, thank you so much for letting us know about that! Do you have the link to that document?
for the sword rotation you mentioned 1. (2) uncharged spiral 2. Full calibur streak in this full calibur streak. you mean 1 time full charge? or the full 3 slashes all fully charged?

Would love to see this series revitalized for the current state of the game
The last 30 seconds of this video is the most clear and concise answer that I can find online about what subclass you should run on a hunter and I have looked for a long time LOL
Thank you for short, informative, useful videos
We really appreciate the support buddy! Stay awesome!
you could use twisting zapper to go from the back of the a boss to the front
definitely needs practice! But a good trick nonetheless

Sword lacks verticality, however. But that is easily remedied by multiweaponing in the wired lance and using it's weapon action.
I would be interested to know more about how the Gunner works as a subclass and how the tmgs would work as a multi weapon on recovering PP etc
Twisting Zapper has the fastest activation of all 3 sword Pas so I use it as my emergency avenger parry but other Pas are definitely more damage as you have shown
Heeeeey never thought of that! I just got too comfortable with Spiral Edge as my parry XD Imma pin this so that others can see as well
How do you do the constant spinning attack for wire?
Best test would be base weapon stats in similar series across hunter weapon type.
No mention of war cry.

Your character during the parts where you show off moves in the cocoon looks super cool, what is she wearing? Great video too, thanks very much!
Yooo, thanks! Outfit name is Miness Lodia/2 [SE]

What would be better, a 3* with a fixa attack lv.5 or just a normal straga?

Can't wait for other class and Braver class guide later...
Excited for Braver as well! August is just a few weeks away
forget sub wl I main it. teach that.
Thanks for the video, but I'd turn down the music next time. Hard to hear with so much noise in the background.
This is why we love you guys. Thanks for the great feedback!

Are the extra hits of Calibur Streak a trap or something? I never see anyone use em
Nope, they deal one of the highest damage :D fully charged streaks hurt
for the sword rotation
you mentioned
1. (2) uncharged spiral
2. Full calibur streak
in this full calibur streak. you mean 1 time full charge? or the full 3 slashes all fully charged?
3 slashes fully charged
I prefer Fighter now, with double saber. Hunter is still great though.
Eiiii that's great fam! Slowly converting to Partizan atm coz I really want to explore this underrated weapon.
AOT wet dream LOL
Braver's gonna be a KNY fan's wet dream HAHAHAHAHAH
