    Thank you. While she could be over the top, she was always fun to watch. Great in Witness for the Prosecution, a terrific performance, often overlooked.

    Hollywood’s greatest scream queen. And she was always an unforgettable screen stealer in everything she was in from The Bride of Frankenstein to The Adventures of Robin Hood.

    She often played a maid, house keeper or cook which is why I love her playing a naughty, man chasing woman, Mrs. Signus in Pleasure Cruise (1933) with Roland Young.

    I swear I see her face and think "Jane Horrocks should play her" if they ever do something that calls for her to be portrayed in a film.
