I just saw her in, The Invisible Man, and KNEW she was SOMEBODY. Great performance.
She often played a maid, house keeper or cook which is why I love her playing a naughty, man chasing woman, Mrs. Signus in Pleasure Cruise (1933) with Roland Young.
I loved her in Witness For The Prosecution.
I swear I see her face and think "Jane Horrocks should play her" if they ever do something that calls for her to be portrayed in a film.
