58 seconds of excellence. no time wasted. love it!
I'm a big fan of these short form tips and tutorials.. Straight to the point! (your long form content is quality too of course)
Whether the video is 1 hour long or not even 1 minute long I learn so much.
Yooouuuu areeeee my hero!
This has been a long time coming hey! :D Super stoked about this one!
Agreed! Very useful to have native. Can’t wait for custom css properties next!
This is amazing, I've been asking for this feature a while back! I'm glad they integrated it! Big fan of this style of tutorial!
Always look upon your videos, Tim. Keep uploading, buddy.
Awesome! You don’t know it, but you’ve been my teacher for many years and I’m close to graduating! 🎉 🥳 Oh, and Lumos took me that much closer!
Thank you for following all these years! I’m so happy to hear about your progress
The first use case I've had for this is the Variant Selector element. Those buttons are super limited so I was able to add images in a higher Z-axis, so it appears that each button has a unique image to represent that product variant. But the images were interfering with that touch point so this makes it all work like butter. Previousl I was using a custom script that just was not reliable.
I can't believe how long this took them to implement. lots of great changes this year to webflow
Thank you Timothy,
Thank you Timothy for not wasting our time and being professional as always.
I would like to ask you as someone who is in to the Webflow for a long time, where do you see Webflow improving in next years and in general where do you think Webflow is heading to ? Thanks :)
Oh, good questions! :) I hope they completely revamp Webflow interactions, maybe base it on GSAP. And I hope we’ll see updates to Webflow variables, custom css properties, and similar releases. With all the changes since Webflow Conf, it feels like the platform is becoming more technical for the better and removing more and more of the limitations of NoCode.
@@timothyricks Thank you for answer, hope for the same. :)
This is so nice. Sick of my stupid absolute bg images blocking my clicks.
man made out of gold
Not sure if its a bug, but whilst this works fine in preview mode, when I publish my site, I can't interact with the element below still.
The same thing. I don't know is it a bug, but feels like it was created only for inner Webflow tools. For real published site I still need to write pointer-events:none through CSS properties
Managed to solve the problem with the css code and I also need to make sure the name of the class is all lowercase
