I'm weird I know but I like chicken noodle soup to be just chicken and noodles. I'm allergic to celery, and refuse to eat cooked carrots, because that's nasty and slimy. I love your faucet over the stove. I would never have thought of doing that, but now want it and if I ever get my dream kitchen I will have it.

Don't complicate it. It's soup. Throw it all in a pot. No need to sauté anything. Simmer OVERNIGHT. Best broth, ever . . . Wash noodles before adding to get rid of floury starch. That is way too many carrots. That's NOT a lot of meat you added to the soup ... So why did you waste an entire chicken? I don't get this recipe at all . . . It's all visuals.

I know that egg noodles are the standard for chicken soup. I prefer to use barley instead. It's delicious either way. Thanx!
