This video is used as an internal training video for our technicians at Bridge Cable. When working on any project, the daily project checklist must be completed.
The checklist includes basic information such as the number of technicians working on the project, the contact information and type of project. The list also includes more detailed information such as a description of the work that was completed that day, a description of what work is remaining, the types of material and gear left on site and special instructions or notes.
Although it may seem pointless or repetitive to write down some of this information down, every single piece is crucial. When going back to a project, technicians have to know what has been done, what they have to work with and what has to still be completed. None of this would be able to be figured out without technicians keeping track on a daily basis.
The daily project checklist also includes items that must be completed at the end of the day when working on site. These items include:
    1. Tiles are closed and all areas cleaned up
    2. Ladders and materials are locked up
    3. Pictures were taken and uploaded to the drive
    4. Blueprint pictures were uploaded to the drive
    5. Patch panel photos were uploaded to the drive
    6. MDF, IDF, closet or cabinet photos were uploaded to the drive
    7. Certs were uploaded to the drive
    8. Remind everyone to clock out
    9. All doors, windows and/or gates are locked and secured
