Great video, well done ! Do you think the Zhiyun FiveRay M20C can light up someone sufficiently outdoors at night, at a distance of 5m ? Do you think its fan noise would be noticeably heard in the video footage of a dji osmo pocket 3 when attached to it ?
Depends on your definition of “help” but no, a 20w soft led will not significantly light any room of significant size no matter how fast your lens and sensitive your camera is really. This is an accent light or on camera light for lighting things 0-6ft away essentially.
@@mick0matic you're confusing me now. If I say no you will not do something does that mean you will do it? Maybe it needs a comma for clarity? I'll add one.
Yeah probably not a whole room, maybe if you had 2-3 of these on stands and pointing them up towards a white ceiling that could reflect the light well. As you can see in my smaller studio, it does a good job. I am just not sure it would be powerful enough to light a large room unless you had 2-3 of these at once.
@@kraigpruett if you're reflecting the light it's even less likely it would do much. These only stand a chance of lighting something more than a couple feet away if they're lighting directly... These are really made to be accent/effect/on-camera lights. You can't key anything with 20w unless it's one person a couple feet from the light. Get yourself a 200w or bigger light if you want to have a chance at lighting a room that's not a closet
Correct, you can use the cage to attach the light to the hot shoe of a camera. There is no electronic communication between the light and the camera. It would act more like a cold shoe, even if it is going into the hot shoe of a cam. Thanks for pointing that out.
The MC Pro is really solid. I just got the 8 piece production kit for my production team and need to put it through it's paces. Feel free to circle back with me in a few weeks and I will have ran a bunch of tests with it.
I’m not able to connect to the app, have reset Bluetooth on light, still not finding light, seems to be problem other people have also noted. Any suggestions…
Cool little product! Really like it. I can see to use it in small scenarios :)
Totally agree!

Test the color accuracy on different levels of brightness…
good review!
Thanks for the love.
Is it bright enough to help light a reception room.

@@noahyv 'No..will not' Double negative, so it will? Confusing

Thinking of using this as key light for Food Photography. Do you think it'll work? Thanks
It may be a little dim… Just depends on how much light you need and how sensitive your camera is to light. Might work!!
@@kraigpruett thamks a lot!
Cool light! Has a high toy factor.
Pretty sure thats not a hot shoe though.

Can you add 2 diffuser plates on it? Thanks!
You should be able to, if you had an extra magnetic diffuser! They all just nest with magnets!
What is the desk you are using for your unboxing?
Here you go, love this desk. It’s 20% off for Black Friday: amzn.to/3Taoqt5

What is your take on Aputure MC Pro as a portable lighting for filming using iPhone 15?

Hey pal, is that NEX6 vs NEX7 vs A6000 throwdown video still coming by any chance?
Still working on that. I have a bunch of content shot for an A6000 review and that video would come after. Lots more to come!
Hey did you try it plugged in?
Yes plugged in works perfectly
@@KORVEOS I bought one ✨

iPhone works perfect. Almost like Sidus link
what about the battery life and option?
5w is 3 hours, and 20w full power is 40 mins.
Name of the app that goes with that light
ZY Vega app
Is there any way to use it with a small softbox?
I guess if you have a Bowen mount bracket like the Godox S2, you could.
