Dear Sir, I empathise with you, and I share your outrage and there is no way that one can condone with Johnson, but there are people who do. That makes the situation even more excruciating. One can only say that the existence of these people is a menace and there ar more offensive because they know of the suffering, but it is not as important as the progress of their conspiracy. The potential threat to all of us is not as trivial as the media and his entourage would pretend.

Well said. That needs to be said to young people especially. It is their future, and if they want a future they have to exert themselves and not lapse into an easy, indolent and facetious cynicism such as characterises so much of the 'social media' I am of the opinion that instead of candidates sending out their manifesto we should stipulate our conditions for our vote. I will not vote for any candidate that does not pledge to make a return to the EU a priority, and if that means a Green, an independent, a rational Conservative, a Liberal or Labour or an independent so be it. If I am asked by a pollster who has the impudence to ask how I shall vote I 'do not know'. Nothing will worry the political establishment than a high 'Don't know' and I advise every one to keep pollster and the right wing media in the dark@@samhartford8677

Her monitory remarks about the Privileges Committee were right and have been grossly abused by the conduct of Rees Mogg and Nadine Dories, they were a disgrace but in the hue and cry against Mega Tories it essential to render justice to the exception. When asked where those mitigations were relating to the event where he is shown raising a glass, he replied “In the adjacent room.” without even a hint of irony as though having mitigations somewhere else in the building was abiding by the rules and guidance.
To my mind this validates that he must have known at the time that the event was not following the guidance because he knew no mitigations had been implemented in that room.

I always think to myself that Britain didn't end up here by accident. People always say "the country has lost the plot" but in all honesty, in 3 decades of my life this is the Britain I've always known. All this just used to be fringe debates but all it took was a few snake oil salesmen and here we are.
