This was my first RJ book, and one of my first three adult colouring books. Still haven't done many pages, though I'm progressing more now that I've been watching you do RJ pages. The water based markers tutes in particular have really made a huge difference to my enjoyment of this art style. Before when I was trying to do all pencil it was too much for me as a beginner. I've loved watching this page develope. And I want o thank you for explaining as you went about lightening this and deepening that. It makes a huge difference to my understanding of how to try it for myself. I have been struggling to get enough contrast my on my pages . Happy healing colouring.

I think any page in full pencil is a huge undertaking but I just like the vibrancy of markers with RJ books - they are a good match 👍

I'm waiting for this one to see if he updates this book.. he did such a wonderful job on fantasy homes and dragons. I found the old double pages to be a waste, but the new ones are really different so they add a whole other half to the book that I would actually color. Have you seen his recent videos on YT? He's coloring, and lately he's started showing his drawing as well.

Russell answered my same question on Insta - he plans to revamp all of the earlier books but Pirates won’t happen this year 👍 I really enjoy watching his drawing videos, it’s great to hear the artist’s thoughts and process I think 😊

This is so good, I really did enjoy watching you work. The pencil on top just added so much depth and deminsion. The rust you put on the sword looks so realistic.
