Quick change tool post from ebay

Unboxing and installation of an eBay quick change tool post for 6-12" lathes (size AXA). Tool post seems to be of average quality for the money and is suspected to work as it should! No complaints so fare on the purchase.

Build yourself a clamp type knurling tool and it will be a lot easier on your South Bend

The lathe is a (model A) 9” southbend sorry for the late reply thanks for watching 9” would be the swing. center to center id have to measure but im pretty sure its a 3’ bed

I forget the actual one I bought but it seems all the “ebay” tool posts are the same just a matter of the size you need and piston or wedge style. Good luck

It was the first one i seen that said it would specifically be sized correctly for my lathe so i went with it. Seems to be holding up ok.

I can see the wedge being a little better. Piston is working for now tho
