- In this video, I give my honest review and take on the brand new Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster that dropped last Thursday, I go over all the improvements and changes that were made in this remaster and if it worth the full price tag when compared to the original from 2006. Yea it was worth it and I platinum it and I enjoyed every min of it I really enjoyed the new 7 day survivor this time around and also I haven't experienced any crashes which was a big win in my book
Ive enjoyed it. A tad bit too easy besides the soldiers and tanky bosses but other than that. Solid fun.
Erotica was removed BUT you used to be able to get a horror reward if you got an upskirt of an elderly survivor. Don’t ask me how I know this…
Anyway, I didn’t buy DRDR, but would love if someone could confirm if that still works in the remake.
I doubt they're awarding points for any kind of upskirt shot

I just can’t get with the censorship and changing everything because everybody’s little sensitive babies. I’ll never ever go that route. Glad you guys liked it though.
I agree, Capcom should have never pussy out and make all those changes. I mean come on, if Lollipop Chainsaw RePop was left uncut for the most part when it comes to similar content, there's no reason Dead Rising should have been changed to not offend the so-called "modern audiences".

"Changing everything" lol they just removed points for taking cleavage pictures, changed a few lines in one dialogue and slightly re-designed one character...
If that's what preventing you from enjoying one of the most original game ever made that's just sad
@@jackcraven2266 Lollipop Chainsaw isn't likely to sell amazingly, because most people don't know about Grasshopper Manufacture. Capcom is a much bigger name, thus they have much higher expectations for sales.

Why was the dialogue changed?
Some censored lines to not offend people in China, also the Erotica shots have been removed. Nothing that changes my opinion on the overall game imo.
@@LetsTalkResidentEvil I was talking about the guy that was a soldier. Why was that censored? It was the most sadden story in the original.
Bc it would’ve been offensive to the left leaning commies. The changed of that psycho dialogue really changed the tone worse. Making him “ah, I’m evil for no reason” which is incredibly stupid
They could’ve kept that part they could’ve kept what he said in the original too. I don’t know why they censored some stuff but the Chinese guy whatever the hell he is or was that made sense because they were afraid that they would’ve offended China somehow but it was 2006 that shit didn’t matter back then, but today you can’t do shit you could do back then back then there were people screaming the N-word in the Xbox party
@@DraftFaun919 some dialogue could’ve been kept the some and I mean some dialogue I don’t see how they can’t keep some dialogue the same because people today are making bullshit. 911 jokes. Moms jokes and some other stupid ass jokes. It can’t be any more offensive than those type of things.
I'm glad to see how some other fans like you are enjoying this remaster, but personally, i'm not buying or playing it, because i don't want to support Capcom and their stupid and unnecessary censorship and changes. I mean, alright, cutting the Erotica photos and changing the outfits on some female characters so that they're not "sexualized" or whatever the fk is one thing, it's stupid but it doesn't surprises me anymore in this day and age. But cutting the "communist and Vietcong" dialogue so that, what, all the commie players (if there are any) don't get mad for some reason, and changing the original Chinese character into American so that China is not offended? Seriously? At least if they went and admitted the real reason why they did this i'd have some respect for Capcom, but no, they can't even do that. I hoped that those leaked files about making sure their games are not "offensive" to specific audiences, and using The Last Of Us Part 2 of all things as an example of how to make their games, was false, but sadly, it's not.
5:07 was there a difficulty setting in the original? I played the sh*t out of it back then and I don't recall that at all
