I take the battery with rod apart and remove bms power...bypassing completely and run a 3 way or spltter and connect a good battery to the board and split off to spare battery pack re-covered and attached to bottom of deck and have 2 xr batteries working and the first good battery bms works for charging both batteries and double xr range keeping my rod battery!
Mine started doing this the first day I got it. Very fun board, although wouldn’t recommend BOOSTED from my experience. Was able to get it “repaired” after few month of trying to get ahold of someone from BOOSTED. Although, Haven’t had the time to test testing it out yet... expecting it to work fine now...
Curious, is there any way to upgrade the firmware on a Mini X? Does the latest firmware (which version was the last/best?) not exist anywhere? No one kept a copy anywhere? I'm sure all Mini X owners agree, I'd like to at least make sure my $1,000 board has the last firmware update.
No there isn’t no more firmware available for anything related to boosted as the company itself no longer exist. So if your expecting any firmware, if one exist, then it would be up to Lime electric scooter company to release one since they are rumored to be the ones in talks of acquiring boosted board company.
So I'm not sure about the inner workings of this but apparently there are a few people/small companies that can do upgrade the firmware. I think I have any idea of how they achieve this but who knows. So it seems like yes there is a copy out there it's just in a very select few hands for service and or repair. Hope this helps a bit from a fellow boosted boarder!
My board is having an issue. When I turn my board on, the light is green and if charged all the lights are lit. I throttle the remote and both wheels/motors are working, but after I get on and ride a couple dozen meters one of the motors stops working and my controller beeps. If I turn the board off and on again, both wheels work again yet when I get on a ride a little bit the same motor shuts off. When I got home and plugged my board in, the light was green and the board was at 60% charge. I left to eat and when I came back the board was blinking red and the bottom of the 5 lights was lit. So I unplugged the board and turned it on and and the light was now green and all five lights were lit. Any idea what’s going on?
I bought a board from Adrian and his buddy on EBAY. The battery he swapped on my board lasted A few months and took another dump again with RLOD. Im suprised I found him on this youtube channel searching board boosted board information. So he is a boosted USA's head skateboard tech???
My board breathes yellow light and the 3 middle lights are on when I turn the board on, so it doesn’t connect to my remote, every now and then it works with the 5 clicks of the board then remote. Is there a solution to this?
Actually there is a solution called “AMNESIA”, a chip mod that someone figured out to bypass and clear this red light of death (RLOD). Actually most if not all tech that claims to service the board will most likely go thru this route!
@@Potato638 how is it a scam? I can assure you its not as I had my battery modded with the chip and had no issues ever since. Theres a complete write up about the procedures on doing it yourself if your technically incline and if you do your research then you should know what it is that’s being modded to get rid of the RLOD.
USA boosted, always a bad customer service. They cannot guarantee the product, several defects in the battery. I bought a mini x boosted board and 2 weeks later I had a problem with it.
We absolutely guarantee our products and work extremely hard on customer service. I don't see any orders in our system with your name on it. Please send us an email and we'll do our best to get you squared away, info@boostedusa.com. If you would rather do it publicly here I'm cool with that also. -Brian
Anyone know code for Gen 1? two red blinks (1 long, 1 short).

Woah. Would you be able to send photos or a video to me of your build? I want to replicate this!

It’s a v2 dual motor with standard battery. It’s got about 650 miles on it

Did you ever find a solution?
