As an American it's so freaking weird getting a driver's side view of everything. We drive on the other side of the road so it definitely takes some getting used to! Cool vid! Thanks for posting.
Nice video. I hope you enjoyed your stay. The road past the Coffee Cottage leads onto The Sloc which is a more scenic route through the hills to the south of the island.
just for info the crossroads before crosby pub just before co op old church road turn left there follow it straight over crossroads and you end up in st marks follow the road and it takes you in to ballasalla then just follow signs for castle town i marshal at crosby and stay in port erin and its the route we use to get to and from marshaling
i have only been their once you would think scenes i lived in England i would have gone more often but thank you for the great video good to see the isle of man again
Thanks Gerry, I live 10 mins from the ferry ⛴ you think I would have been more too. Ferry prices not the cheapest if they were I’d be over more love the place 👌
You missed the best road, if you had carried on past go ape and the coffee stop you would have road one of the most beautiful roads on the island. I'm a local and its one of my favourites. Douth of island has dome real gems
Hey this is where I stayed in 2007 from Ireland takes 4 hours from Dublin night ferry yah a disaster no sleep the fasilities were great food showers and a beer how bad
Yes should be on everyone’s list either at tt or not it’s a lovely island 🏝 sadly every tt their are riders lost. I heard over 200 over the time it’s been running, crazy really
Thanks Nick really enjoyed it. My last TT was 2015 when I marshalled at Rhencullen. Stood there with tabbard on and fingers crossed. I took a mate over when no racing was on and he just loved riding the circuit. The funny thing is and why I don't know having been there a good few times I have never been to The Sound. I clearly have missed something by not going there. Although I always recommend going to the IOM I live in the South East so its easier for me to get over to France and less costly. Thanks again now going to watch part 2.
@@MOTOUK1 Just watching it now Nick. I had 2 weeks over there last time & like you I found some great quiet roads. Port Erin to I think Peel was great .Like you speed is no longer a factor in my motorcycling and I just take in the scenery . You've just been through Dolby and that church I stopped and made myself a cuppa and put money into the honesty box. Stay safe. Ted
@@MOTOUK1 yeah watched your video's of TT . Riding up from South Wales too Liverpool over on ferry on the sat pitch up and settle in. Then Ride the island on Sunday. And watch qualifiing day 1 and 2 👍
Hi Nick, great content as usual, i wish i would have gone to the island when my wife and I we toured the whole of the uk pre covid, but would love to do it at TT time. Have been waiting for your vlog and look forward to more. Cheers from Australia.😃👍
So I use 3 cameras 🎥 I use 2 x DJI Action 2, one on helmet and one for blog style or bike reviews. Other camera looking back at me prefer the Insta 360 one x2 as it’s super wide angle. So that’s my perfect 3 camera set up I alway ride with. For still photos I use iPhone
No I moved away from GoPro some years ago now as had too many corrupt files all the time. I used the first edition. DJI Osmo Action for years, now on their latest one and love it.
The go pro 10 is ok and while chatting to TeapotOne regarding GoPro he told me he had issues but then he now uses the white batteries and has no corrupt file issues so just bear in mind
All those local cafes and eating spots and you choose Costa, lol!!!
🤣🤣
Auf diesem Campingplatz war ich auch zur TT 2024...Grüße aus Valencia
Hope you had a good TT 👍 cheers 🍻
Perfecto 💯

Haha I can relate to that as come to USA now and then. Cheers 🍻
It’s great to see what it’s like to camp there, thanks for the great video, Nick!
Your very welcome Freddie, second stay at that site, IOM is lovely especially south, west coast Peel in Episode 3 and north.
We always camp at Peel Council site, cracking town and rapid access to course at Glen Hellen 🏍
Looking forward to the TT 😆
Great as allways, work commitments have stopped me going so please feel free to enjoy it twice as much.
Thanks, was a great few days 👍I see also the senior will go ahead tomorrow now thanks to so many volunteers to be marshals.
Good video, good comment! See you 2025!
Great content.... I was last there in 1983 and it sounds like the Heyshan ferry hasn't changed. Blue Point is the place to visit for tranquil beauty 👍
Probably same ⛴ ferry 😂 they have a new one for next year. Yes I went to blue point in 2016 👌
Same here mate stayed in the Sefton in Douglas hoping to return next year for one last time .carnt believe it was 40 yrs ago
Staying there next year for my first time over 😁

Thanks Darren, I took that route on Episode 3 stunning route, headed to peel from there. Loved every minute of the island

I stayed on the same site 2022. Got to be early for the showers.
I've put a little highlight vlog up on my channel. Not this good though. Great vid.

Looks fun mate will have to do it myself next time.

Isle of Mann looks like a great place to visit. Maybe after test!
Shame re the accidents I heard about. The speeds are just insane!

The castle was built for one of my great ancestors Nick, we share the same name....
Nice 👌 🤣
How the facilities looked like - toilet and shower?
Yes all facilities are good there, cracking site local to village and shop, also great viewing from the grass verges from the camp site

Hi Russell, thanks for tuning in 👍 its a lovely island! Cheers 🍻
03:07 first time seeing a mini roundabout with a tree in the middle. you bring unstoppable force 150mph, an immovable object will halt your life.
Mad isn’t it, like a mattress wrapped round it is gonna stop it hurting 😆
Money for business and money for coppers 😂😂
A bit off topic Nick. Which of the cameras that you use do you prefer ?

Audio is captured separately on Instamic’s nothing to do with insta360 and is a different company
@@MOTOUK1 so not a GoPro. Thanks nick. Can’t decide between the action 2 and the GoPro
