A cell phone does not have a self timer and you cannot put a smart phone on a tripod. I have an Canon ELPH 190 is and in my opinion it takes superior pictures then the pictures taken with a smart phone. I do not have a smart phone and even if I did get a smart phone, I would always use a proper camera to take my pictures.
Not all of us waste our money on a S whatever, and damn sure not buying apple, or wasting money on a 1000 dollar camera. They take good pictures, and I just got a 180 for 35 bucks. Beat that apple.
