You can make your own Cranberry body butter way cheaper than what they sell it for. It can be made at a fraction of the cost. The cranberry body butter would be so pretty with the pink and a dark pink/ red color swirl. I just made my daughter a whipped grapefruit body butter yesterday. Tip if you don't like the greasy feel you can always bump up the tapioca starch or arrowroot powder

It’s not always about the dollars and cents. Some people prefer a defined step-by-step approach to making products. There’s room for everyone in the bath and body DIY world.

I agree, I would probably have to sell the cranberry one for thirty five dollars to make a profit. At $110.00 it's pretty expensive. But the video is extremely useful and I love Ellen Ruth's work.

@@BaumgartBathCo I was just stating a fact that you can make is cheaper yourself. There are several step-by-step instructions on how to make this kind of body butter more cost-effective. The amount of money the companies are charging for products like this is crazy. There is room for everyone I was just stating there is away to keep the cost done and not have to charge an arm and a leg for beauty products

For inexperienced formulators or someone who wants to just make a few items for gifts, kits are a good way to learn. For those who sell and have ingredients on hand, a kit might not be cost effective. All depends on what you want to accomplish.

Hello again! I have never used body butter before but it looks like I need to get some, my skin is very thirsty. I love citrus smelling lotions, but I also love the "baking" smells too. Cookies, vanilla, cherry almond. While you were mixing up the body butter, all I was saying to myself was, ohhhh, that looks like butter cream and I want to eat it all!! That consistency looks gorgeous enough to spread on a cake!
Such a pretty pink color for that cranberry butter, I bet it smells divine. Cranberry and citrus mixed together, sounds oh so good!
I need to get some body butter, my skin would thank me and thank you for such a wonderful video! Much love from the PNW!

I made the Shea butter one with my own unrefined Shea butter. Couldn’t smell the essential oil due to the woodsy smell of the Shea but it I like that smell. It was quite thick so I added a couple of tbs of jojoba oil. Turned out great. Will be wonderful for winter dry skin and feet as well. 😊
