Along with the CT9 the TRX are my fav looking target bows, but after looking the tunnability features of the Bowtech's Reckoning 38 and the Elite's Rezult those Mathews feels a bit lackluster.
Hi I love your video, very informative and entertaining. I wonder if you can help me with a decision my draw lenght is 31.5 to 32 I am currently shooting a hyot rx-3 at 60 pounds. it has too much vibration, however I decided to get a pro competition bow, which one would you recommend ,regardless of price. Thanks
Hi if you had, just like me, to buy a bow witch one do you prefer ? The new Hoyt compound or the Mathews TRX ? I only shoot on target and just 18 meter and 25 meter. Drawlenght approx. 28#.
I would wait to the Bowtech and Prime releases to have a full view of the landscape. Bowtech probably will add some new model with the camlock/camdrive system from the Reckoning; despite I like more the looks of the TRX 36, the Reckoning provides both draw length adjustment and cam lean adjustment without the need of a bow press, which is a huge quality of life feature if you lack one and your closest bow store is hundreds of miles away. From a pure target perspective I think the TRX 40 is the best option, but isn't as sexy as the TRX 36 or the Prime CT9 due its lines are more simple.
I think that the only compatible device was the QAD rest, but in target no one uses drop away (and even in hunting, limb drived drop away is becoming more popular than the ones linked to a cable). So here es mostly useles (albeit the TRX 36 seems a good hybrid capable of dual purpose).
Why does nobody shoot a bow without TALKING over it or playing girlfriends music over it? Bow noise must be freaking horrible. It’s fast! Ooo-wee! Next let’s spend an extra $120 to quiet this “premium” bow. 🤑🤑🤑
Lancaster Archery Supply, could you suggest one of your videos for a hunting bow that you don’t actually talk over the bow shot? You’re not alone if you can’t. Most archery channels favor their own opinion over their viewers. Please forgive the hyper-criticism, but most have become infomercials by people who are sponsored by their products or are obviously seeking sponsorship.
J H No offense intended. I was just addressing the statement about a need to pay $120 to quiet down the bow. Some folks might see that and think they really do need to quiet a target bow. As for talking over the shooting, as you mentioned, that’s a common style of video reviewing. We give the highlights of the bow while showing the bow being shot. If noise is a concern, the only true way to get a sense of that is to be with the bow in person. We control the audio and so our recording of it can vary depending on many variables, including how far away the mic is. So an audio recording of a bow being shot can be misleading as it pertains to the actual amount of noise a bow makes. We appreciate your interest in our videos very much.
Mathews-number one in the world!!!!👏👏👏👏💪💪💪💪
broken bolt....
I was really hoping that the 36 would have a 30-40 lb limbs for strong archers 11-16 years old. Hoyt and PSE has a monopoly on this age group.
That TRX40 looks like a real tack driver another great Mathews product.
Great info for beginners like me when considering a bow!
Thanks mate. Super informative.

Don't forget PSE. What Elite is doing this year with the adjustability of the limb pockets is what PSE came out with back in 2018, or 2019.
How long is the riser on the TRX 40?
Hi

Hard to beat Mathews😎
Great information!
Hello. Would you say that the 80% mod is more for hunting and the 70%V for target ?
No.....SOme target archers, like Chris Perkins of Canada, use the 80% mods for target. Archers who like less holding weight will go for the 80%
@@LancasterArcherySupply thank you. I am in that case. I'd rather hold less. My french local archery store told me so and I found it hard to believe.
What the difference in the trx 7 and the trx 40?

You guys should review an Xpedition
Daaaam that’s a chunky bow!
What about the dove tail for rest attachment?

Yo PJ is it available in camo colors
Not these. They are target bows so only solid colors. Hunting bows are coming in a few weeks.
I wanna see the Mathews hunting bow..Give us a sneaky peeky..we won't tell.😁
Whenever you say it comes it 50 pounds, does it go down to 40
Yes when you losen the limb bolts
Just as I ordered my Comp X a week ago :(
Usually how it works buddy
Fe_Man I wouldn’t be upset, Braden gellenthien is shooting the halon x comp at the moment so must still be a top bow.
Pretend you died, and reverse the charges.
The internet is a series of tubes.

J H It’s a target bow meant for competition so noise is irrelevant.
