Ville Arponen yea I was never too sure so when I check it I do it both ways and as long as its between min and max I run it. My 19 now just has a looking glass and only one oil so I dont have to mess with it.
It should be yes, but go on google and look up your model years service manual and you can download it your books app or files and you can check it out there. Honda probably has the best service manuals throughout all the brands.
2015 manual says that you check oil level from dipstick without screwing it in

Everytime u change oil on the honda u change oil filter too?
Everybody’s different I do every other oil change I change oil filter
I think someone put pfte tape on those filter bolts. Not needed.
