In this video we service the rear haldex fluid, the filter screen attached to the pump, and clean the pump. we also drain and fill the rear differential.
This looks to be a Gen 5 "Haldex", which does not have a filter. It does have a screen on the pump, but no filter. Fun Fact: Haldex was acquired by BorgWarner back in 2011. So, Gen 5 "Haldex" AWD controllers are actually marked BorgWarner and are missing the dimpled appearance. Prior to Gen 5, controllers are marked Haldex in a large, easy to read font with dimples across the metal face. After Gen 4, Haldex AWD Clutches are really BorgWarner AWD Clutches. However, everyone still refers to it as Haldex.
Is this applicable to a 2015 A3? My pump wiring is fried and awd is not working so I’m changing out the pump and doing a haldex/differential fluid flush
Did you have any error codes present due to the wiring being damaged? Any TPMS, vehicle stabilisation, front radar, cruise control faults by any chance? My car is suffering from these faults and is showing canbus communication faults between modules… and I suspect the broken wire may be the cause!
Buen trabajo....
Hi, what is the diff oil P/N or specs please?
How much more Haldex fluid did you need to add after you warmed it up?
when should I do my rear diff fluid? how many miles
after rotated your wheel-s then haldex added oil also? or not
probaly not because he torque the fill nut, but yes it needs to fill up a seccond time.
Hy for the rear diff what spec of oil you use ??
Did you change the filter by any chance?

Is it the same for RS3?
Hello, could you tell me the Nm. Greetings and thanks from Spain.
Haldex controller hex bolts = 6nm, Haldex coupling to diff = 49nm, center drive flange nut = 210nm, haldex precharge pump = 6nm, haldex oil drain plug = 38nm, haldex oil filling plug = 15nm, diff oil drain plug = 19nm, and diff oil fill plug = 19nm. These are all for Gen 4 Haldex
