Hello. How about setting preload and backlash, did you do it, or just changed the bearings? Thank you.

i didn't set those. i just changed the output bearings and left the old pinion bearing. it has been fine whit my car.

Hello. How did you remove the old bearings ? And how did you put on the new ones ? Any special tool used ? Regards

no special tools. hammer and metal rod, maby hammer whit a knife at start to get off. i used the old bearings to hammer new in.

@@artomassinen1926 did yours also make noise most on the right side ? And how is it now. Did it work well after replacement?

yes the right side. it might be due to exhoust heat, i wonder. i swaped only the side bearings and left old pinion. has been quiet since. and i know it would be correct to cange and measure all, but i half ass it still...

parts came as a kit from vaihteistokauppa. i didnt find the old ones enymore to chek the numbers

Vieläkö kuului ääniä laakereiden vaihdon jälkeen, omassa ujeltaa vielä moottorijarrutuksen aikana n.70-80km/h melko kivasti.
