Coming from the strict ballet and gymnastics just hearing "it's up to you" is so strange and kinda freeing. I'm regretting not starting breaking when I had the chance haha
@@KaioFalcrow Thanks will do! I've been recommending your channel to one of my friends who is new to breaking because I personally find your tutorials most helpful and entertaining. Never stop being awesome my friend.
Great video! Something I want to share: the side-to-side kick, some people called it skating, which self explains but is hard make it look smooth and good. Also a suggestion to help improve the top rock for most bboys & bgirls, keep the elbows high (not glued to your body) so you won't be like just dancing with lower body without upper body.
Don’t worry, keep practicing, I would recommend you watching yourself in a mirror and experiment with the shape and forms of the body, for example play with the arms a lot until you find a good posture you like. Also experiment with different clothing, sometimes just changing the clothes can change your form a lot
thanks for the feedback! :) I think in Breaking there are no such strict rules like it could be in other disciplines on how to move the arms, but I see that doing the opposite with the arms as what I am doing could result more natural for most people, giving it more the look of a normal walk or run :)
@@KaioFalcrow I know bro, but toprock same footwork sane powermove and when u do flare with first right hand, so u must to kick to the left side. With side to side kick / toprock i think same, kick your right left so push your left hand. Bro, no rules but it’s art form .

Bro , the side to side kick should do kick left leg and right hand & reverse, hiphop not both side with hand and leg ❤🙌
