Well both 2nd encounters of Astral Alignment are bugged. Apparently if two people dunk the batteries on the same plate, it consumes both but only counts 1 of them, then the encounter bugs out and batteries stop spawning.
just dont do that
Like, how in the fucking world was something that simple not play tested and fixed before launch.... crazy
I noticed this I loaded into several iterations of the activity yesterday where there were people just standing around

Was pretty surprised seeing there's last wish raid mechanic in the 6 player activity.
I was really happy to see it. So tired of ball and gambit mechanics.

Same, also when I stand in the areas of the slow batteries I get the suppressor buff from deep stone crypt
BTW, the big taken Ogre at the end of the new activity does not have a proper health gate like the bosses in the past have. It is possible to kill him in one go after breaking the first shield. As to be expected, Falling Star is pretty good at this.
Also, Scorny Bois have stasis now. Well, the little lantern fellas do anyways. I find it fun.
I really like the fresh new takes on the seasonal activity, it's not like collect motes and dunk it in

the battery one is also bugged. i had several runs where it just didnt spawn any batteries and those immune enemies where roaming around with some occasional enemy spawn
Battery one is the only encounter that always bugged out for me :/
I haven’t had that happen from my teams but I’ve queued and was put in ongoing matches with the bug going. So I’m glad I know the cause now Hope they get fixed quick!

Really like that last season's story directly leads to our actions in the opening mission and cutscene. Previous seasonal transitions felt a bit jarring
Shouldn’t constant changing threats of war be jarring though?

@@tcmeme5693 that was because of the sundial which Osiris created partly due to the fact that the undying mind was finally dead. Most seasons are connected, the most jarring one for me was the randomness of the endless night but know we now that was just savathuun moving her plan along after the ceasefire with caital

For the boss fight, if you pick up that taken “buff” and let that buff counter get to x5 or higher, the super will nuke that overshield therefor making it not take 2-3 taken buffs to break it. It also does really good boss damage and will basically push it to its next phase or kill it.

Side note: if you're farming armour then there are new ghost mods that means you can get gear with a minimum of 10 in a specific stat so could be worth equipping them too if you're making a new build

I believe it the collectable at the water wheel that is bugged. My friend told me about it and we used me as a experiment. I collected that one 1st, and then was able to collect the rest!!

The battery can get bugged too. I joined a in progress battery encounter on my very first run and stayed ten minutes with us killing adds and trying to find the batteries.

The first Seasonal Challenge was bugged for me too. Wayfarer 1 glitched, and I had to abandon the quest and re-pick it up in order to finish it. But it didn't count it as complete for the challenge. So hopefully that gets a fix too

the season activities is so convoluted for me. i was confused at the start lol. the shattered realm especially. ran around in circles trying to find the damn beacons.

Have we figured out what the suppressor does? If you stand next to someone else holding a battery in Astral Alignment, you get the suppressor buff from DSC, but idk what to do with it.

It was a shame IMO to see the timegate happen so soon but maybe this will change in the upcoming weeks. There isn't a whole lot to complete after the quest is timelocked apart from leveling your gear or farming for new weapons, can't even farm Prophecy weapons right now because it is bugged.

About the issue of the anchors: Isn't it counted if you are maxed on the currency, so when you pick it up it doesn't count?

Colors (1?) is probably my favorite front to back album.
Getting close to the Ogre and hitting the Taken Super just as its shields go down melts the Ogre immediately. The timing is a bit wonky but I've managed to do it twice now. The objective glitches a bit, and so do enemies, but the event completes in 3-4 seconds.
