Loved your video, especially the wildlife and the sailing across the gulf. Look forward to seeing you in the Kimberley. I guess you're in Darwin now or even further along maybe? xx
Thanks for the feedback on RUclips sailing channels about the Gimbal. My wife and I are planning to get a catamaran soon, till then we watch channels like yours. Our youngest son just graduated, so a new chapter begins, and one of our dreams is to sail the world.
Thanks Ray for watching! It takes quite a lot of work putting an episode together so we both very much appreciate that you are watching and dropping us a comment. Cheers
Thanks, thats how we started. Used to watch Delos and La Vagabond (still do) and their early episodes inspired the dream. Then did the WAGS sailing for a couple of years, then moved aboard!
Beautiful and scary at the same time. Looking forward to your adventure. If you ever get a chance, would be nice to know how you prepare your boat for such a massive trip. Love your videos.
Thanks, it did take me a while to finally acknowledge they were not lizard tracks but crocodile tracks and to stay away from the waters edge! We live aboard full time so for this trip other than a little provisioning for food the boat was ready to go. Our trip in 2019 to New Caledonia has us blue water ready to go. If you are wanting any information about our boat setup, drop us a private message through messenger and I will see if I can help. (Chris)
Hi Glen, we have a video showing them being installed. ruclips.net/video/1MtmmA6dXf8/видео.html It was designed and made by Stephen from Queensland Canvas and Marine. He is a top bloke and does fantastic quality work. facebook.com/stephenqcandm
love the crew t-shirts…. been keeping an eye on you via AIS… but coverage is very spotty up that way .. so you dissapear for days! .. and im not convinced you fully solved your AIS range issue .. and where is the video of u going up the mast!
I've been using the app OnTrack to transmit when in mobile phone range (one of the other boats is using this an explains why the appear more often). I did find a bad connection on the VHF antenna connection up the mast, but rocking up 19m high I wasn't going to use 50% of holding ability trying to video it when I really wanted a 3rd arm to complete the job.

Hi guys great video. I have a 1250 and love the weather screens on your cat. Can you remember where you had them made?
