This staging is different very much from any production I've seen. I've seen it live 9 times and of course seen many scenes via RUclips. I have never seen M. Thenardier interact with Cosette at all. All the terror for her comes with Mme Thenardier. Ironically, I saw JOJ in London April 2001. He was outstanding. I like the Thenardiers here as they are less comic and play it straight forward mean. However, while watching the show, they are needed as comic relief by this time. Thanks for posting. :)

This is possibly my all time favorite performance of Les Mis. And John Owen Jones was so good at such a young age. Unreal!
