Har fina minnen från allt vi sjöng tillsammans i Les Mis på Circus 250 plus föreställningar och också Gula Nejlikan, Wagner Goes Rock på TV och allt annat vi sjungit du och jag . JOJ was recovering from an illness in this show and yet he gave a flawless performance. The biggest injustice in theatre's history what they did to him. He should have been the 25th concert phantom. Also with Katie Hall he was even more amazing, it makes me so sad that nobody recorded a decent quality video of JOJ & Katie at her majesty's :'(

It is so infuriating that this fanboy recorded all those gina videos but not even one of JOJ with Katie Hall. John was even more amazing with her than here, the audience went crazy with that duo. He was crying so much after Katie left in the boat and the audience applauding a lot after his "it's over now". Heartbreakingly beautiful. John & Katie are the best phantom/christine pairing they actually suited the characters unlike others people gush over. It's so saddening that most poto fans will never know that. JOJ deserves so much better, he is the greatest.

If musical theatre was not an extremely antiWhite business especially like sadly it is especially nowadays John Owen Jones would be a huge star as he deserves to be.

How very epic we got a good video recording of them both (I still wish we got an official video recording though). If people don’t know, Gina wasn’t John Owen Jones’s regular Christine. She already left the cast a few months prior (same time JOJ replaced the Phantom then David Shannon). For some reason all the Christines for this performance weren’t available, so they got Gina to cover for the role. She and JOJ had only performed together in Les Mis before this.

You can see his body language changing. In the beginning he has a tall, powerful posture and by the end of it he is completely exhausted and defeated, look at his shoulders. He lost everything. John is perfect. Btw he was ill on that day and still gave a flawless performance.

You know, for all the sensual songs in the musical that the Phantom sings, in the novel Erik wanted a wife that he could take out for walks on Sundays. Also in the novel, Christine's kiss broke him ("she kissed me and she did not die!"), prompting him to let her go. I find it both sad and fitting that the phantom could never hold Christine when she was in his arms willingly, and again it was her compassion/love that makes him let her go.

It looks like after 4:44 where Christine sings "You deceived me. I gave my mind blindly." that the Phantom is already beginning to regret his treatment of her, and that perhaps what he's doing isn't really the best course of action.

Each person who has played the Phantom has their own unique style, so it's hard to say that one actor is better than another.

This video just makes me melt. The pure talent of this performance is second to none. I love how Gina is showing sheer desperation and anguish, almost as though her body is giving up. Is is a true talent

Forever crying over this. I love John Owen-Jones so much and I never got the chance to see him. He should have been the phantom in the rah concert. I can't believe they did that to him after all the years he dedicated to this show. Biggest injustice in the history of musical theater.

I was lucky enough to see Gina Beck play Christine in London. She was utterly wonderful. Her voice is beautiful and her portrayal is perfection

Phantom finally gets kissed and is like, "meh. Maybe I'm gay. go off with Raoul, swear to me to forget all of this and never to tell."

I find this number always lacking in choreography. It's as though Lucy and the rest of the cast are walking around for most of the song wondering where they are and then the dance numbers look like High School productions.

Yeah, no. She’s a fantastic singer, but that wretched accent throws the entire number off kilter. And to have it end before the belt at the end? Nah. This entire video leaves me pissed off.
