I did a bit of googling online. apparently this dish originates from Pakistan and it's origins have nothing to do with singapore at all. They did it to popularise it as an exotic dish in their weddings. To be honest It's pretty insulting to use the name of our country but yet have zero origins and influence from singapore.

I tried these singaporean rice today they were soOo amazing I just lv them.. All my family liked it.. It's sOo unique.. Thank youu food fusion for sharing such amazing fusions.. lot's of lv and well wishes for you❤❤❤
I made this today and it took me almost full 2 hours because I made everything one by one. If I make it again, I would boil the egg noodles in one pot while I make the stirfry and also have the rice soaking at the same time. Cost of this recipe was approximately $10 ($6 for 1 lb chicken, $2 cabbage mix, $2 egg noodles, and carrots I had leftover). I put minimal mayo sauce, just mixed in a small ziploc and lightly drizzled over. Six people ate it; including our one American coworker. She was gulping down soda to reduce the mirch but she said it was really good. Even my husband said mirchein thori zada ho gaein. However everyone did get seconds so it was still really tasty. I'd rate it 9/10, just because of the time required+dishes, and also cuz it was so mirchi but I'll def make again with some mods. Thanks for the recipe.
Yes first thing to do is soak the rice. N yes, make noodles, chicken n vegies altogether on three separate stoves simultaneously. Even mixing noodles with vegies is not necessary. Some ppl dont mix n layer them separately.. Also, when i read ur comment, i skipped red chilli powder from both gravy n vegies n skipped the end wala tarka as well. It turned out absolutely amazing. Try it this way n you wont be disappointed.
