- An Emirates Airbus A380 aircraft sustained significant damage after it made contact with a ground vehicle at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. The aircraft was preparing for a flight to Dubai, which was eventually canceled. Judging by pictures doing the rounds on social media, it seems the plane COULD BE in Moscow for some time to undergo repairs…

UPDATE: The aircraft flew back to Dubai on April 1st... no joke.
I bet it would miss some parts after “repair”
this isnt boeing
Russia will probably seize it and re-register it for Aeroflot.
Yeah lol
🤣🤣🤣
...after saying that the driver was from Ukraine 😁
The issue is … parts , where are the parts coming from ?
@@CP-zi3egyeah and that driver won’t be heard from again, probably due to unknown circumstances
It seems to look worse then it might be. I think he only hit the belly fairing which is relatively easy to repair/replace. The fuselage itself doesnt look to be affected.
Looks can be deciving in aviation.
With the current sanctions on Russia how will this effect spare parts being imported for repairs?
eh? Emirates will pay and probably deliver themselves.
@@rnburley that’s what I thought, there are “sanctions” and then there are “purchased sanctions exemptions “. 🤔
its emirates the only airline that Boeing and Airbus bend over backwards for. I am sure they will get the spare parts
That won't polish-out.
Who came from the flight radar alert 😄
Airbus/Boeing should ask customers not to fly in russia.
Repairs in Russia? Where will the parts be coming from?
Probs where they’ve been coming this entire time, the UAE
From Dubai via Emirates
From Dubai via Emirates
How many SJ-100s can you make from one A380?
No es prohibido llevar civilización por tierra de bárbaros????
I expect Russia can blame this on Ukraine.😅
Hahahaha😅
The way Simple Flying Domodedovo airport sounds hilarious and goofy
Was thinking the exact same thing. Why emphasize certain syllables like that 😂
Don't judge them so hard ☺️ The speaker pronounced at least all the sounds in their own places.
Medical episodes like strokes are unpredictable. Thankfully, there were no further problems past the driver of the service vehicle, and I hope he is doing ok.
Emirates shouldn’t be supporting Russia in anyway shape or form.
Airlines shouldn't be political
i guess Emirates did not get the memo that Russia is on the boycott list.............should not be flying there to begin with....................
Dubai didn’t sign up to the sanctions. Neither did Turkey, China, and Egypt so their airlines are still flying into Russia
yup........who cares about sanctions when there is money to be made...@@Vonononie
Exactly.
Why would the UAE or any country in the global south care what NATO thinks or adhere to their sanctions list? America and Europe continues to sanction itself into further isolation, that's even better for BRICS.
@@nabawi7 You are confused - the sanctions are not imposed by NATO. 143 countries have voted against Russia's invasion of Ukraine at the UN. Many non NATO countries and even international organizations have sanctions against Russia.
It wouldn't surprise me if Russia took this opportunity to try and get sanctioned material into the country.
Yes, never underestimate the Russians
I highly doubt it but it could be the first A380 hull loss
😮
operational hazard
Other than aircraft the Mercedes truck also got hurt.
already got back home safely. Nothing to look at here...
Ferry flight or with passengers on board?
@@wesellanybizIt said ferry flight on flightradar24
Ferry but at fl410 so no fuselage damage only fairing panels
Check the cab for the vodka bottle(s)..there is your medical episode!!!
Don't look now, but someone has just removed the engines.
and the tires...it's up on blocks now!!
What's Emirates frying to Russia ? Boycott Emirates !!
I hope there weren't any passengers on the manifest that had to get out of Russia post haste.
Are there any spare parts the Russians needed for their Airbus aircraft? Emirates may want to check that nothing else falls off that A380 before they get it back.
Nobody should be flying into Moscow
Whys that
Dubai didn’t sign up to the sanctions. Neither did Turkey, China, and Egypt so their airlines are still flying into Russia
Spoken like someone who believes the world revolves around western wishes and interests. The multipolar world is upon us and the West will soon have to learn to accept this new reality.

What about Israel?
Why are Emirates still flying to Russia ???
Because authoritarian governments like and support each other
Why not? Not everyone kisses the US's feet
Money.
That's what you get for plying to Russia... they will probably steal parts off that plane.
I don't think you realize the close relations between Russia and the UAE. Not everyone treats Russia like the boogyman especially in the global south.
@@nabawi7
Well, if Emirates need Airbus parts to fix this, they will have to fly them to Russia themselves. Airbus cannot send any parts to Russia these days.
@@TheChiefEngneither trained repair crew to do the job
Cry
Any airline that flies into russia should be barred from receiving any parts from Boeing or Airbus.
✈️
Is it possible to get parts into Russia because of the sanctions?
So your own statement in this video is completely incorrect, you stated the plane collided with the vehicle when it was the other way around, the vehicle collided with the aircraft
probably on purpose....
Let’s hope they can’t get spares because of the embargo.
A380 para peças !!
It's back in dubai
Why is Emirates flying to Russia in the first place? Won't be with them again.
Cry
80% of airlines still fly to Russia
The airports name is spoken "Domadedawa", just to be correct
My wife is native Russian speaker ….. never heard her say it that way…..
Russian tactic to secure sanctioned aircraft/spare parts.
Why are Emirates flying to Moscow anyway, and who else does, it is sanctioned.
No it isn't
UAE is not stuoid to blindly follow West
@amiemohan8578 what are you writing, you can't even spell
150 countries dont have sanctions on Russia, only the countries that kiss US’s feet have sanctions
Drive or drink, russian drivers have chosen..
They always choose both
4 engines to steal…
They shouldn't be flying to Russia, and it wouldn't have happened!
The Russian authorities are blaming Ukraine for the incident. No comments from the Emirates.
What os it with russia and their hatred towards large jets?
Surprised there wasn't any mention of the Boeing 737 in this video 😏
Vodka...
Maybe the driver was so high coz of vodka..
Boycott Emirates if they continue to service Russia !!
also boycott all US airlines coz they illegally invaded iraq
80% of countries still will fly to Russia
Way are they still flying to Russia 😠
😂😂😂
Just easier to stay out of Russia.
This aircraft and ANY aircraft that lands in Russia should be banned from flying in countries that have sanctions with Russia. The authenticity of any parts used while visiting Russia surely has to be called into question again meaning they should not enter European, Canadian or American airspace to name but three such regions.
So you mean most of the world's airlines should be banmed from said regions?
Other than these countries the rest of the world really doesnt care about what is happening in Ukraine
Is anyone surprised. Its Russia.
Accidents don't happen anywhere else?
SLAVA Ukraine
Why do you pronounce Domodedovo like that 😂
Since the Airbus a380 is discontinued, Emirates must be pissed off in trying to find parts to fix their damaged airplane.
They have retired airframes they strip for parts
Airbus still produce parts
Please let us know what you think in the comments section below.
Is Boeing responsible for this incident ?
😂
🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😎
They'll blame Trump
airbus fan-gal spotted
Well, stop flying there!
I don't think that airbus will send any repair crew into fascist russia. Maybe Emirates will learn something out of this, but I don't think so.
It's getting flown out empty tomorrow morning at 0110.
@@cabottaxi maybe they used some duct tape… Pilots will be wearing oxygen masks and not flying too high?
@@kirkleiber1412it was repaired by parts shipped by the next emirates flight
This poor plane - which will now remain in Russia forever - gets duct tape around the damaged fuselage and then Aeroflot becomes the new owner. That's how easy it is.
Its back in dubai
Back in Dubai
Oh no, anyways
Old news
Russia 3th world country 😂
Love how the deteriorating west is seething that the countries that actually matter still work with Russia.
Sure Ivan
Stop flying western planes then 🤣
Lol sanctions what?
To much vodka
Russians again 😅😅😅
