I was onboard a ship,I called him by phone with the earphone in his ears and tearfully told him how thankfull i am to him and how I love him before he died 2 days after. He died because of diabetes and undergone dialysis 2 times a week until we ran out of money for a dialysis. I think he gave up because he was so sad upset for what had happened to our family we already sold some of our properties. So.... That was sad..

In Vietnam, we call it is “trứng vịt lộn” or “balut” in english for easy to call. It is very delicious, lots of protein, very good for male phyiology, the white part of the egg is the cartilage and it's so tough like rubber. It also use for breakfast, you eat it with some ginger slice, slice of coriander and a little salt.

I'm filipino but i've never tried eating the duck, only the yellow part. When you eat balut prepare a sauce, vinegar mixed with hot chili pepper, and add a little bit of salt. Add the sauce into the soup of balut before slurping to add some flavour. When eating the yellow part, dip the egg into the spicy sauce. It'll taste good. There are many sauces made for balut, not only that

This is my Vietnamese dish of duck, very nutritious, when eaten with a little ginger and a little salt and pepper, it's great.
We eat it with salt, pepper and Vietnamese coriander (rau răm) a.k.a. Polygonum odoratum.

You can actually eat the white part if its soft enough. First test by biting a small portion on the edge. if its chewy enough then you can eat it.
