Hi Rose, Sorry if it seemed complicated. That step is not completely necessary, but if you don't like the white lines between the black squares in the maze, In Photoshop you can select the white area of the maze with the magic wand tool and then select "select>similar" that will select all of the white on the page, then select "select>inverse" which will now select only the black area. Now fill the area with black and that will fill in the lines between the squares so the maze is one solid black shape. Like I said you can skip this step if it doesn't bother you.

The Puzzle maker is somewhat limited in what you can actually do within the app. The way I use it is to generate the puzzles in the puzzle builder then download them and do the additional layout and design work in a program like Adobe Illustrator, unfortunately that does require some graphic design knowledge. The app is really designed for people to quickly make basic puzzles that they can sell on Amazon's KDP platform. For anyone who want's to take it a step further it will require some ingenuity and some design know how.

This is indeed more work, but in the end, you have finer control over the end result. I am in the process of planning my first puzzle book, which is exciting. Last year I created puzzles for a local project in my village, and I want to extend my puzzle-making. Your video is a great help and guide for a beginning puzzle creator. Keep up the excellent work!
I have my own maze book I made. I created a different maze then you have ever seen and tried to do. I can send you a sample. Mine was not cost effective when I made it 13 years ago.

That’s great. I have used an Adobe Illustrator plug in to generate mandalas. The fact that you were able to do the same with a mouse and symmetry tool in Photoshop is impressive.
