According to me the best way to check whether your brand new motorcycle has been ridden or not is
Check the disc brake rotor
If some one has ridden, the disc rotors will definitely have lines running along the disc rotors.
But this is applicable only to bikes which have disc brakes.

great video sir useful tips which I follow in future because in past I faced serious issue with my brand new bike after taking delivery..
u could also have included checking the tires. it's easy to make out if the tire has been used even for few kms or is it a really brand new tire. this way you'll know if the bike has been ride or not

Also make sure that you get a battery in good condition. Some of these motorcycles might be stored for long periods of time causing battery issues. Make sure to ask for cell test. Don't settle for a simple voltage test. I got my scooter this january and had to replace the battery in 3 weeks. I got a new one by warranty but had quite a lot of trouble on my way home from the office late at night

Sir,I have been sold a defective RTR 200 by TVS.The bike is only 10 days old and from day 1 it was having weird sound from engine.When I complained by mail to TVS,the territory manager called me and said to bring the bike to ASC.I took the bike there and he agreed to the problem by inspecting.He revved the 500 km run bike till 100 kmph and told that it will take 1 day to solve the minor problem.When I visited the ASC day after,I was shocked to see the bike totally dismantled.The technician had taken out the engine head and clutch.They couldn't rectify the problem after many experiments of disassembling and assembling of the bike engine.Its been 5days I have not got the bike.After that when I mailed TVS for a replacement bike,they are not replying. The territory manager is not at all cooperative and is saying there is a minor problem which will be rectified in some days.

You said that motorcycle should crank in 1st go or refuse to take Delivery. But usually what happens when we go to buy new motorcycle 1st we have to select chaisce no. then the prepare that machine for us. Then when we are taking delivery and at that time if its doesn't crank at 1st time then how to deal with it. And o e more request could you make a detailed video of how thing to be done. Like suppose i know that i have to buy this bike so now after that what to ask in showroom how to choose machine which parts or what things that we have to take care and all before scratching frame no .. upto the Delivery and what after delivery if something happens in middle like that.

There have been instances where there might be some small problem and the dealership guys says that No sir, its just a minor issue and fix it anyhow!
My incidence when I took the delivery of my NS200: The rear grab rail had scratches on it, i told them to replace the bike, but the dealership guy replaced the grab rail from another bike (new).
So not every time those guys are concerned about how we want our bike to get delivered. They just wanted to deliver just another bike model to just another customer, that's it!

@@gulabg7 spoke to dealer in the evening and even he said the same. They have dealers invoice which has manufacturing date. Is that information correct.

Yes vikas bhai it is one of the most important part of buying a new vehicles because anything could go wrong when it comes to vehicle manufacturing the vehicle could be accidently delivered to us by a dealer 😑🤔😓😓 and I have experienced it when I went to buy a Honda Activa 3g in 2016 the Honda dealer gave me defected scooter the problem in the vehicle which I bought was major like bend scooter frame nd the bend rear steel rim nd improper tyre 😒😒😔😔 i have repaired my scooter ever where like authorized service centers to the local mechanic but the problem remains the same 😵😱😰 nd i would give 10/2 stars to the Honda for quality check 🖓🖓🖓 nd thank you vikas bhai for this amazing video 😊😎😇👌👍👍

1. according to you the bike will be delivered at 0kms on speedometer. does not the manufacturing factory test the bike in detail before sending it out of the factory to showrooms?

yes, all the dealerships would disconnect the odo cable and run it and deliver to an unfortunate guy..
what if there is no wear'n'tear of the accelerator or foot pegs. ?

Hi Vikas, it's an amazing (superb) detail presentation for a pre-delivery check-up when one is going to take delivery of their bike. I live in Bangalore and had a bitter experience with the dealers here. Next video also address in doing a research about the dealer before taking delivery of the bike.

Bro can you share the list of inspections the showroom as to perform as PDI, these buggers charge the buyer for PDI where in i personally believe that its the sellers responsibility to sell a top notch product and not charge us to make sure the product works... thats ridiculous. Imagine Samsung selling a phone but charging us extra to make sure that phone works!

the dominar has serious vibration problem problem after 4000 rpm. i am sure many ppl cancel there bokming after its test drive. no wonder why monthely sales of dominar is down to the 2000 from 4000

How to check how much fuel is in the reserve of a bike?? As u said the showroom people must put 3.5 lit of fuel in the reserve. So if they say they have fuled it and in reality they haven't , how to check it??

Hi vikash. Your information on this video is very useful. I have some query to tell you, I drive dominar and RE 350, but engine braking on dominar is to much compare to RE 350. Is it normal or dominar was not driven more that could be resone?????
Another thing that Bajaj person say that you have to book online and Bajaj company give your specific engine and chassis number for your bike so u will get same bike and don’t allow choosing any other bike. Please conform it.

I got my YAMAHA R15-S 2016 model delivered with fuel pump issues which i realized late after 2 days of delivery..
and the show room people replaced it in warranty after a month..
This is major issue bro.. bcz 1-2 liters given by dealership does not show any fuel reading in meter.
The digital fuel meter was showing NIL, which did not even work after filling full tank..
I hope who would mention this in your next video. :)
Who should be doing the the pdi ? And why do showroom people forcing on paying for pdi ? What would they do in pdi when it's already a thing to do by the seller

* brake fluid / brake bleed
* coolant liquid
* reduce and correct high tyre pressure
* every switch and light shud work
* first crank shud start engine
* wash the motorcycle
and wait for 20 to 40 mins.
and look out for leaks
* insurance
