Settings I use are as follows: 4K30F, EIS RS, FOV Dewarp, EV-0.7, Shutter, 1/100-8000K, ISO 100-25000, AWB, Color, Sharpness (texture) -2, Video Noise -1, Stabilizaion Daily. You choose to save as a Custom, in video, and Supernight, the Jitters will be buttery smooth, or use a Gimbal and turn off EIS all together
stupid question here to ask lol but Wouldn't just using the default night mode already have all the right settings in it to fix this? for action 5 pro?
@@craigshandworld not a stupid question at all. What I am doing is trying my best to match up what is in Super night to the regular mode, along with the Action 4 so I can get the best settings for me.
This is amazing! Thank you for making this video! That was very kind of you! Like you, I’ve been into photography since the 90’s and even before. I’m always learning, I learned a lot from you today. I am excited to see more videos from you for sure! I think it would be great if you could write these settings in a comment or in the description so people could write them down. Btw, I tried this on my go pro and it doesn’t work quite as as well, GoPro isn’t as good in low light as Action 4 and 5 or the insta 360 cameras. Pro tune on GoPro the shutter only allows specific settings not a range so I set it to 30 FPS and 1/120, and it still jitters. Maybe I’ll play with it. GoPro still isn’t as good as the other action cams in low light, but in good light it looks really great! Interestingly, the insta 360 Go3S has a “jitter reduction mode” and it looks great in walking and night videos and I bet it’s automatically doing what you did. The ace pro has “pure video” and does same thing. On Action 4 and 5, have to do it manually. I wonder why the action five didn’t include some type of anti-jitter feature right in the menu? They should add it and call it fishy’s secret anti shake mode. Lol. Thank you so much for this! Very kind of you to share this knowledge! PS: The action 5 pro really seems cool but I’m excited to see more of your reviews on it and hear your thoughts with even more of your testing.
Why is 60FPS any problem on the boardwalk? It looks really good to me! No jitters! Also subject tracking looks great with the right settings!👍 I hope you do lots more videos with this camera! 😊
Thanks for your video it was interesting, I just got my DJI osmo action 5 pro did the firmware update! Not bad on DJI all settings exactly the same as my action 4 but my action 4 video was better, it's new hopefully a firmware update will correct.
Awesome congrats, the settings may differ for all. I am happyI can grab a camera and go. DJI latest camera is released so they now can figure out their fixes. not like a Sony where they hardly correct firmware issues if asked but who am I
No lanyard on teh Action 5 pro no spot, unless you use the cage, I do not, it was not a thought through attachment, as you'll find the DJI mic adapter may not fit with it on, the stap can be atachedto a thumb bolt tripod etc, but it must be optional, DJI does not supply it

Gonna try with my action 4 today
Oh, now i have to try your settings.
they worked well for me the past 6 months or so
Do you just keep these settings day and night? I just got my action 5 pro btw and it’s great so far, as long as I remember to use Fish’s settings!

It's not I shoot 30F most the time

Do you use any lanyards? Where to connect them? I use ulanji mt09.

What selfie stick do you like for the action 5?
Ulanzi shorty mt09 I think, may be in my description
I use the one from DJI. It is not bad.
