It’s been a pleasure, thank you breddren!!
I want to thank both of you for the willingness to share your knowledge on authentic reggae with true fundamentals. Hope you all continue to do more. Bless!!!
Excited to be a part of this as well. The vocals are almost done, cant wait to share them with you all.
Bonjour Karigan Comment pourrai je te contacter? J aimerai bien avoir ta touche sur 2 tracks? mon email bachirdia@hotmail.com > Merci de on feedback
You're a super drummer! Always love your playing. The grove is amazing!
I'm starting a reggae band here in Melbourne from watching you guys play. Love to one day meet you guys and hear you guys play
the best rubadub drum sound of my career!!!
That’s awesome!! It was recorded with superb mics and recording techniques with an absolutely professional drummer! 😎
@@DMKahn Henry Pierre Barnet is the sound catcher!!! ;)
Karigan’s groove is so good! Loved hearing this project, thanks all!
brah hella dope! whatcha got infront of that kick tho? a sub head? and why? education purposes of course :D
It’s a sub kick. The air from the kick causes the sub to move and it acts almost like a microphone, but not quite. It picks up a super low frequency by the sub’s speaker being moved.
Nice Riddim DM, I truly like it, well done brother, Uncle C
This is really awesome guys. Great collab and what a masterpiece. Love the Authentic sound and instruments. Respect and keep up the great work ❤️💛💚🔥🙏

Yet more great music to add to my list .you are special.big fan.
Wow,
The video picture quality is superb, the sound is amazing.
A collaboration of the highest integrity. The mix is really smooth, a lot of work has been put into this project.
It deserves a whole album's worth of different vocal cuts & some dub versions.
Listening to this smooth sound I can't help but think that the" cool ruler" himself would be interested in this track if he was still around. It's a pleasure listening to this music , everything is where it should be & with the extra bonus of some guitar talk box, top track indeed, 10/10🙂
Thanks man, yes a lot of hours put in! Thank you for the feedback, it means a great deal to me. I have the vocals from Raphie, he absolutely murdered it! Stay tuned for the next episode!!
Wicked!!! What a pleasure to hear your both sounds united! You looked so happy adding that MOJO in the end... =) Thank you so much! Love and respect!

Respect! D👑K
Sooo good! Thank you so much for your openness to share your experience. For me as a reggae drummer and producer your information is helping me a lot to improve. Love your channel! Big up!
Many thanks! I’m hoping to get better at reggae drums in the near future!
You forgot about the hi hat bro. The one thing I needed advice on lol. Great video
My bad ! Haha keep it simple. Cut low frequencies you don’t need, add some brightness if needed. Don’t go crazy on compression, avoid gating too
Gracias por compartir, saludos desde colombia.
Great video!
Big up! 🙌
Perfect slow musik reggae
Bad ass
Nice one Kahn!, I suggested to karrigan to meet up with you in a vid. Your skills combined could make some nice productions. Your Dutch sax player.
Bro how did you set the hihats with the Lindell plugin? Best drum mixing tutorial i have ever seen.
Yeah sorry I somehow skipped the hi hat in the tutorial, I boosted the 7.2k region, cut at 300hz, maybe a touch of compression, no gate. Bless
This is amazing knowledge!!! Would be cool to see a mixing tutorial with sampled drums/midi drums
Check out these this video, I do just that! ruclips.net/video/9vkgG13ooMY/видео.html
@@DMKahn just finished it and loved every bit of it!!! Can I purchase those samples?
Hit me up with an email, I got you bro. Thekahn@gmail.com (copy/paste it, it’s weird spelling)
Good job ! Big up
Thanks!! You guys are jumbo too
I want to build a space for recording modern in your face reggae drums. Any recommendations on the size or ceiling height?
Generally speaking, quite small. Lots of absorption on the walls. That said, I wouldn’t make it cubic, but more hall-like. 9’x12’ with a 7’10” ceiling or something like that is the smallest id go. I’m not an expert on room acoustics
what about hi hats?
I forgot them in the video, sorry!
This tutorial is only for drums live or sample drums too ?
Thanks!
This particular tutorial is about real drums but I have others that are more about sampled drums. All the best
@@DMKahn Yes I was wondering about that after the video "HOW TO MIX A REGGAE SONG?" where you didn't use the lindell audio 80 and other plugins from plugin alliance.
I guess the lindell and other alliance plugins are not needed for samples.
Thanks for your answer.
All the best from France !
Ras Kephas
I got 3 tunes on RUclips under Bernard Pierre mystic revelation.
Excellent!!!
Bless you bro 🙏
