so i see youve installed external Speaker and Microphone ! am i not able to use the Vehicles Speakers and Microphone when using this Device or does it only have audio output solely from this external speaker ? Thanks
Hello, our system uses the factory Mic for phone calls, Siri and Google assistant. The speaker is no longer used with our current system. We use Bluetooth for sound through the factory speakers. We did use the external speaker when you would listen to AM/FM or Sirius/XM on the factory side to receive alerts from CarPlay/Android Auto since the vehicle only has one AUX port, however we found that you can just download the AM/FM and Sirius/XM apps and use them since you have Carplay/Android Auto in your vehicle now. Do the console navigation buttons work with it? I just installed mine and the physical navigation scroll wheel doesn’t work in carplay and only works in armada mode.

Does this impact the camera views/access at all? This car has a 360 degree camera along with front/rear camera and other installers have told us that this could be impacted when installing carplay
Hello, no you retain all your OEM functions, when you put the car in reverse the back up cam will display. You will have to switch to the OEM side to use your 360/Front cam with the arrow back button on the steering wheel and switch back the same way to CarPlay/Android Auto once you are done using tha cams. Does this come with a replacement top screen, or do you have to take the top screen apart and add the module between the touch screen and the board like the older version?

Hello, this is for when you are listening to AM/FM Radio or Sirius/XM. The sound from CarPlay, navigation alerts etc, will come from the little speaker since we can't access the AUX port all at the same time when using AM/FM or Sirius/XM.
