Yes this is in the Netherlands. Behind this location is an old river branch of the river "Maas" and all the sand is brought in by the water during hundreds of years. And you can build on sand.

Maybe watch the video more carefull next time. You see that he is causing a traffic jam?
He just drive maybe 100 metres to pull over on the side off the road, if you look carefull he pulls to the left so the traffic can pass on the right. He stops there to secure the excavator with some chains.
You really think that someone in Western Europe just transport a excavator without chains? You have no idea how much the fine is that the truck driver gotta pay and the company separate..

Hij blokkeerde een doorgaande route, er ontstond al stilstaand verkeer. Hij is wat verderop gaan staan, waar wel ruimte was om te passeren. Daar is alsnog alles vastgelegd, maar dat had ik niet op video staan.
