I think they all needed to switch- if Luffy had gone to elbaf he would have a friendly reunion with shanks (although shanks may have still challenged him for his Road Poneglyphs), Law’s abilities are way more suited to teleporting outta Punk Records so he could’ve extracted Vegapunk more easily and learned about the Void Century, And Kid would’ve opened with a huge attack on Blackbeard which none of them could’ve stopped since they seem to lack Observation Haki. They pretty much all picked the worse paths possible.
Van Auger is with the Blackbeard pirates though. You seriously think the marksman on a yonko crew who was able to shoot seagulls so far away that the straw hats couldn’t even see the island he was on lack’s observation haki?
It would’ve been interesting to see Kidd meet Blackbeard on sea. Well, BB is plot protected until he fights Luffy, but if we take that away, there is a good chance that he would’ve let Kidd charge his attack and get totally screwed by it because his ship sinks and all of his crew have devil fruits.

I think law has a couple more options on Elbaf. He could leverage the fact that he took down Big Mom to get the favour of the giants, which could give him a level of protection against/respect from shanks while he’s on the island. He’s also a negotiator, he formed the alliance with Luffy after all. He might straight up try to trade poneglyph etchings with Shanks (if shanks has the last poneglyph). He probably made copies just in case they get taken from him. Shanks also knows Law saved Luffy at marineford, and that he had a formal alliance with Luffy, so he might be more favourable to him than he was to Kid.
Kidd wanted revenge and was about to blow up the fleet which caused Shanks to just annihilate his whole crew. I'd say Shanks and Law are pretty similar in terms of temperament. Shanks may not even fight Law because Law said he's not trying to be PK
The thing with Marineford and law saving Luffy is a very good point. I could honestly see law and shanks just get along fairly well based on mutual respect and their respective codes of honour.
There might be a 3rd option for the Shanks and Law meeting. Not a party but not a fight, if Shanks remembers Marineford and Law saving Luffy he might be interested in an actual civil meeting or maybe even an offer to take Laws crew under his protection as thanks so Law and Shanks end up working together
I love the idea of the Shanks and Luffy reunion being just like Roger and Whitebeard. Starts with a long “fight” that’s obviously not malicious, and then afterwards just an insane party. I actually was talking to a friend about that right before 1079, and shanks using divine departure just made me extra hopeful for it

To be fair to Law, he's _also_ someone who defeated Big Mom, so he'd be popular at Elbaf. Even more so because he's not...attacking it. Even if Shanks and him clash, I doubt it would be a fatal thing. In the best case scenario, they meet, trade information, and part amicably. In the worst case, Shanks kicks his ass and takes his stuff without killing him. Regarding Pudding, I want to point out that she was able to shoot a gun with a strong enough caliber to penetrate Germa armor with one hand and no visible problem with recoil. Not to mention she could see Sanji saving Chiffon from Oven when nobody else did. Don't let her pretty face fool you. That girl is her mother's daughter.
This is a good point that suggests Law would likely not come into much conflict on Elbaf. Even if he was hostile to Shanks I would expect him to try to sneak in and steal the poneglyth rubbing without directly engaging him.

Between Kid and Law, Kid seems to be more suited for sea battles. And Blackbeard would likely attack Kid by ship like he did against Law. We've seen on 2 occasions that Kid's magnetic power can affect other ships: The 1st was right before the Onigashima Raid when the Captain Trio attacked a ship together. Kid used his magnetic power to pull himself to the ship. The second time was, of course, against Shanks's fleet.
Yeah, Kidd would probably try to sink all of Blackbeard's ships, and if Blackbeard was on one of those ships like he was at the start of the fight with Law, we would see a situation of Blackbeard's crew having to be saved from drowning and possibly retreating. But if the fight happens on the island, I don't see Kidd winning, and unlike with Law, Blackbeard probably wouldn't want Kidd's Devil Fruit (all of the Titanic Captains already have fruits themselves), so it is possible he would kill the Kidd Pirates if he doesn't just capture him. That reminds me, we still don't know what happened to Moriah after he confronted Blackbeard. Was he captured? Did Blackbeard kill him? He confronted Blackbeard before all of Blackbeard's crew were shown to possess Devil Fruits, so I thought maybe he would die and his fruit would be given to one of them, but that didn't happen. If Moria escaped, I would imagine the Kidd Pirates could, too.

Well *that* was an intro. In sniping, there's the concept of a spotter, who helps the sniper locate targets while they keep their eyes zoomed in with the scope. In Dressrosa, Viola was Usopp's ultimate spotter, but Robin...Robin would make an amazing one as well.
There's a third option for Law's encounter with Shanks. Even though Morgans is all about "big news", no matter how much he needs to spin the stories, it's a well-known fact that Law allied with the Strawhats to take down Doflamingo. It's possible that they just end up talking. Come to think of it, Saul is on Elbaf and Law and Robin are good friends. Law is also a doctor. I would've liked to see THAT interaction specifically.

Law would never attack Shanks’ Fleet out of the blue like Kidd wanted to. He’s a very level headed guy. He also probably wouldn’t challenge anyone, when he knows he’s gonna most likely lose. Actually, I’d love it if Shanks spotted Law first and sent out Rockstar to negotiate. We’d see sweat run down Law’s face while he’s calculating every possible outcome in his head like Doctor Strange. He covertly prepares to use Room if shit hits the fan. It’s a very tense situation, Rockstar has a serious expression on his face and he says “I have a message from Shanks for you”. Law starts sweat more now, he tries to look calm and collected but panics internally. And then Rockstar just says… *”Let’s Party!!!”* Then they just Party for 3 days and part ways. Shanks basically always said ‘as long as you don’t (intend to) hurt my friends, you’re good’. 😂

Last thing I noticed Tekking mentioned Law helping vegapunk escape & he mentioned the frontier dome stopping them furthering the story, law can literally effect whole island lengths with his room, Law would literally just ignore the dome & teleport everyone away from it. Only reason Vegapunk didn't do that is because he hasn't mastered teleportation yet.

Incidentally, with the oh-so-classic Room and Shambles, Law could plant those bubbles directly on top of the Seraphim extremely easily once he saw how effective they are, and he’s a cold, rational guy so he’ll know better than to go easy on S-Snake.
I don't think Law's rooms would work on the bubbles. Those bubbles cancelled S-snakes powers as soon as it touched her. So something similar would happen if Law try to manipulate it directly. Law could throw S-snake at the bubble, or give Lilith some support when getting around.
I think if Kidd went to Egg head and he was able to chill out long enough, Vegapunk would realize killer Ate a smile fruit and offer to remove the effects of it from him. This would lead to Kidd being indebted to Vegapunk and even if he himself doesn’t feels so Killer would make sure he pays him back so they would take him off the island

One of the Vegapunk could work on a cure for Smiles, since they among the few people that know how Devil fruits work. Shocka/Lilith could use it as leverage to get Kid to behave and give him a reason to help get all the Vegapunks off the island.
I feel like the immortality surgery plot isn't supposed to come back. That was only for Doflamingo's character motivation to tie Law and him together. Other than that I don't think anyone actually knows about the eternal life surgery (other than the Gorosei). Like Kaido and Big Mom never made a reference to it.

An interesting thought about if Kid went to Egghead. If it breaks out into an all out fight, which I would usually foresee, if Lilith chooses to activate the seraphim to fight them, they are under her direct command. So they then can't be taken over by CP0 or used by York, meaning that Lilith and all the seraphim probably easily roll CP0 and collect Stussy, then either there is downtime and York can traitor unabated or the marine armada arrives and it's the full seraphim, pacifista and other weapon suite vs just Kizaru and whatever else the fleet had. Also Kid's magnetism could affect most of Egghead's defenses pretty badly. It's almost all metal and nothing has haki to resist his magnetism. I could see him rolling most everything except the seraphim and maybe the pacifista if their bubble shield does have sea properties.

I love the idea of Usopp and Robin teaming up against Van Augr. Imagine him teleport ING everywhere while Robin has her compound eyes type ability active. I love Chopper and Brooke vs Stronger. Also, I imagine Chopper being naive and thinking Stronger is in danger, then getting hurt. I would love if Luffy is angrier at Blackbeard because of his food preferences than his involvement in Ace's death!
Couple of scenarios and questions for the Straw Hats vs Blackbeard: What is/could the awakened form of the invisibility fruit be and how would it change how Shiryu fights? I think it would be insane if this is how Zoro gets his first ever wound on his back. (and maybe only - for a bigger impact/deeper meaning) Every other swordsman fight with honor to some degree but here comes Shiryu who doesnt care at all and actually prefers underhanded tactics. The opening scene for their fight could be a deep wound in Zoros back and how he has to accept the fact that he has been shamed as a swordsman while fighting him. This forces Zoro to fight in constant oni mode to guard his back and be ready for attacks from all directions until he figures out a way to deal with him etc. Nami could envelop the Sunny and area close to it in a heavy fog or redirect the light in hazy air to make it appear in another place or be "invisible". Would be really fun to see them use their abilities in strategic ways too. Robin could reach the next level in battle surveilence by drawing live maps with her ability for each Straw Hat or make her bodyparts appear as a map or an arrow or something to show where the enemies are or whats going on. Make a much more detailed map for a sniping spot that Usopp is in and give him enough information to know where to aim and have him deliver setups or much needed help in all the other fights at key moments. Like he could be the one to bomb Zoro and Shiryus fight with a powder or something that sticks to Shiryu and makes him visible after Zoro has been fighting for a while and cant figure it out. Robin whispers to Zoro to close his eyes and he makes this epic dramatic pose so that the reader/viewer and Shiryu thinks he is going to do some massive move but then Usopps bomb drops in and it was all just so Zoro wouldnt get the powder in his eyes.

Maybe the awakened part of the invisibility fruit is that it completely removes any trace of the user meaning not even basic/mid level observation haki will help you identify the user. Maybe only future sight allows you to get a sense of where the invisible user is or their movements
its not soo much high spec, its just that he put his exp points into that path, there are guys like luffy who put his points into future vision, others like ussop that put them into super long range sight and then there is sanji who put them into detecting genders
When you started talking about the Straw Hats showing up to Elbaf and drawing the comparison between what it would be like for them to show up and the time Mihawk pulled up on Shanks during Pre-Time Skip, it dawned on me that we may never actually have the party scene where Shanks gets to meet Luffy after becoming a "great pirate" and have Luffy return his straw hat...

Kid's interaction with Blackbeard could be interesting. While they'd certainly fight a major battle, I think there's a good chance they'd come to an understanding and work together (i.e. try to use each other). Their goals don't seem like they'd conflict with those of the other all that much.

If luffy landed on Elbaph, Shanks would try to run away from him to the point he can't. Blackbeard vs Kidd is an interesting match up. Law would have struggled a lot on Egghead but I think he would agree to take Vegapunk on board with him.
the only other outcome I could possibly see with law and elbaf would be law having a sit down talk with shanks and telling him he realistically doesn't want to be the pirate king. but that he knows there's knowledge based on the void century that he could learn there. I could see that talk sparking shanks attention enough to almost not want fight him but to view him more as an informant of some kind.
I think the only other outcome with Law and Shanks, is a Ace meets Shanks repeat. Where in a direct parlay with Shanks, Law explains all he's done for Luffy - and in fact....Shanks KNOWS Law is the one who saved Luffy at Marineford. And from there he gives the Red hair crew the full context on everything that has happened throughout their alliance from Punk Hazard onwards... I think there is a lot of potential that as long as Law doesn't show any hostility towards Shanks... Law is partying with Shanks' crew and then Law books it! Because he knows Shanks beats him no contest, after spending a night partying with him and his crew.
I think it would be possible for shanks to actually know that Law saved Luffy from marineford and stuff and actually invite Law inside the island in a less friendly way than if it was Luffy but still in a friendly manner
You should do a "what if" on various pirate crews entering Long Ring Long Land and confronting Foxy. How many would do the Davy Back Fight? How many would just kill Foxy? How many would take Foxy under their wing? And other permutations.
Thats the thing about the Straw Hats now, they arent just run of the mill pirates anymore. They are almost comparable to the Blackbeard crew, that battle at Onigashima did numbers for them.
I think the fact that smiles are based off of bega Punk's original devil fruit in the first place would definitely make kid want to meet vegapunk to see if he could reverse the effects of the smile on killer

He knows it'll be risky but i feel like VP will take that opportunity.
I think it'd be funny if Stronger tried to beg Chopper for help, but then when Chopper lets his guard down, Stronger lashes out and attacks him and Stronger reveals that he's actually a super evil horse and is more sadistic than Blackbeard and he and Doc Q are in perfect sync and understand each other even if they can't verbally communicate. Maybe Law could sneak onto Elabf and wait for the log post to reset, and then when he sees Shanks's crew leave, He might surface and (if he can gain the giant's trust) meeting Saul. Also, Shanks should know that Law saved Luffy in Marine Ford and that He allied with Luffy for a long time so that works in Law's favor. If Shanks brings it up, then Law might even be able to explain to shanks that Bartolomeo is not acting on Luffy's orders (though he is Luffys friend) and that the Grand fleet is self-proclaimed.
It would be really cool to see like Luffy, Zoro and Sanji fight Blackbeard together like they fought the Pacifista on Sabaody. I think it would really highlight their team dynamic and allow them to do some crazy combo attacks we’ve never seen before. Maybe after Sanji rescues Pudding and delivers her to the Sunny, he might join the fight against BB
I think another thing to remember for Law, had he gone to Egghead, is that it was known that he and Luffy were allied so he could essentially name drop for some trust/info should Vegapunk mention that. Bringing up Luffy or Robin could prompt some serious conversation and in reverse Vegapunk has info that Law would really want so there could be some mutual agreement coming from that. Plus, perhaps Law could just teleport them out of the dome even while it's up which could get them off the island way faster.
I feel like Law going to Egghead would be a huge crew buff. Imagine Law with Vegapunk on his crew + the Seraphim. This would have helped his crew out a lot in the endgame. Also Bonny would just join Law's crew. Hell Egghead could have become Law's territory and then become a Yonko when BB gets taken out.
The only bit of reasoning I don't fully agree with, Tekking, is that the Stella body would WANT to meet with Bonney. He was very consistently and deliberately trying to avoid talking to her about her father. He promised Kuma after all. Therefore I think it makes it much more possible Law and Kid just go on their way, or Law goes to get answers, since he has solid reasons to talk to Vegapunk.
The intro is from The Pirates of Dark Water the game from the Super Nintendo. I remember to watching that show when I was a small kid, my family also had almost all released episodes recorded on vhs tapes.
To honest I didn't remember first, but at the end of this Video when Tekking said it was from a show in early 90s, that got my guessing directly on The Pirates of Dark Water and it's game, but I needed to look up clip from the game from beginning to be sure.
I mentioned this in another video but I'm pretty sure that Shanks and Law would have some kind of conversation. We saw that Shanks is given a dossier on Kid so the same thing would probably happen with Law. It could potentially lead to new information about the D clan.
Yeah given everything we know about Law, he’s not the type to go all out and fight for no reason. He’s a very chilled and layed back guy but also very smart so definitely would know he can’t beat shanks. Definitely try come to some agreement and share some important info with each other.
I love that no mater where they went it would have been a crazy arc for the strawhats Elbaf and shanks have been talked about for so long The fight with Blackbeard has also been built up for so long too but even the Egghead rpg choice was way crazier than I though the game would get
When the story ends you should totally do a "the entire story of..." For interesting characters, telling their entire story from pre and during the entire show from their perspectives. For example the entire story of zoro would be his childhood, and then going briefly on every single arc mentioning the stuff that zoro did during each arc. Or for side characters like bonney maybe shorter videos telling all of the stuff we know were going on with her. Could be interesting and build up the legend of some characters after the story ends
Something I think is worth adding for Kid's encounter at Egghead. Firstly, Kid does have something he could want from Vegapunk. He could want a cure for Killer's SMILE effects. Second, let's not forget that Kid has the magnetism fruit in the island of technology. The restraint boots out on the Straw Hats probably wouldn't work on him, and there's a ton of scrap with crazy technology on the island. Besides that, magnets are notorious for wrecking electronics.
31:40 honestly I could see Shanks and his crew fighting the Strawhats if they met. When Roger and Whitebeard met they’d try to rob each other first and THEN sit down and party after being forced to respect each other’s strength (like we saw in the Oden flashback). It wasn’t malicious, but pirates are pirates. That’s the pirate culture Shanks grew up in. He already fights like his former captain so I wouldn’t be surprised if he carried himself that way too. Luffy has road poneglyphs and Shanks is officially moving to get the One Piece now.
That'd be cool yeah. They have a little brawl for fun and then talk business after. Strawhats would def lose but I don't think Shanks would do anything as harsh as what he did to the Kidd Pirates.
I think luffy vs blackbeard would have been interesting cause they have jinbei now. He’s kind of a cheat code cause the guy could just dive under their ship and tear it up. The straw hats are really balanced doesn’t rely on devil fruits and there is a ton of good cohesion between them. Obviously luffy would have a cool reunion with shanks crew and dorry/broggy.
Something you didn’t mention that would be such an amazing moment if the strawhats went to Elbaf is Robin reuniting with Saul, that would be the single greatest panel in all of manga

This idea has been living in my head for ages. The havoc Kid could bring on Egghead, Law meeting Shanks, or Luffy meeting blackbeard. It's so cool to think about!
Tekking, I think Shanks would have been slightly happy but a bit disappointed Luffy only managed to get 3 Road Ponyglyphs unlike Kid who lacked a translator hence why he needed to get into Elbaf. He would Admire Luffy's strength overall but his fleet and Island management is not undercontrol, which is why I think Shanks will have Bartolomeo prisonor when Luffy meets him due to him ripping the Red Hair Jolly Rogers down (a source of protection). He will threaten Bartolomeo's life because he will explain it's not just Luffy's life on the line but those who follow them and release Bartolomeo if Luffy passed some kind of test.
If you look at the pannel where Kid's crew Surrendered the Ponyglyphs there were already 4 Road Ponyglyphs. The issue is, if Kid did go to Punk Hazard and threaten Egghead, Kid would have to deal with the Seraphim and did not have any interaction with King although they might have spoken with Zoro during the party. I paused the video to say this so idk if tekking says it but Auger vs Usopp would be the perfect time for Usopp to develop future sight Picture it. They’re evenly matched but every time Usopp is close to hitting him Auger warps. I picture Auger trying to hit the straw hats and Usopp shooting his bullets. Then Usopp realizes that if he’s ever going to hit someone teleporting around it’s almost like he’d have to know where he was going to be teleporting to before he got there. When you brought up Chopper going up against Doc Q and Stronger, I was thinking I would like to see Chopper team up with Franky in Centaur mode. It would just be funny. Anyway, I think no matter where Kid goes he's screwed, but I think Law would have a chance. I think if he went to Elbaf, Law and Shanks would end up talking. Because Shanks would have a dossier on Law and with futuresight probably would know Law would turn back. Realizing the type of guy Law (smart, reliable, strong), may rush out there to invite him to Elbaf. Worth consideration in Law meeting Shanks instead of Kid is that we are informed that Kid was already on Shanks' shit list from a prior incident, Law might very well be able to just request a peaceful exchange of information solely by virtue of not having attacked Shanks' crew in the past. Kid was quite possibly the worst option among the supernovas to run into Shanks.
You know what I just realized? Stussy probably isn't the person Vegapunk called. One of Blackbeard's ships is on it's way, and we still don't know who the 10th captain of his crew is. Aokiji being the answer to both of those mysteries wouldn't surprise me.
I think on any other situation, Blackbeard and Kidd might actually get along. They both fit into the "Morganeers" description of pirates from Romance Dawn beta-One Piece stories, so they could bond over that. It might be a thing where Kidd specifically hates Shanks because he sees him as a goody-two-shoes Peace Main, and he wouldn't have that animosity towards Blackbeard. But also, BB was there specifically for the spoils of Wano, Kidd would be aware of that the second he saw him, so they'd still end up fighting if they met on Winner Island.
I think law on Elbaf would go differently. I think that law will mention that he’s in an alliance with Luffy and that will kick off a convo with shanks. Kinda like that scene where shanks in that cave and ace comes in saying that he’s luffy’s brother and they kick it off. Shanks is like “oh you’re friends with Luffy? Come drink! Eat! And tell me stories of your adventures with Luffy.”
Well, technically their alliance is over because they’ve already defeated big mom and Kaido who was the main goal so Law most likely wouldn’t say that because Shanks clearly reads the newspapers and would be aware that Law and Luffy we’re only allied until they defeated Kaido. However knowing Law, he probably would’ve just ended up sharing some info with Shanks and then left.
I think they all needed to switch- if Luffy had gone to elbaf he would have a friendly reunion with shanks (although shanks may have still challenged him for his Road Poneglyphs), Law’s abilities are way more suited to teleporting outta Punk Records so he could’ve extracted Vegapunk more easily and learned about the Void Century, And Kid would’ve opened with a huge attack on Blackbeard which none of them could’ve stopped since they seem to lack Observation Haki. They pretty much all picked the worse paths possible.

I think law has a couple more options on Elbaf. He could leverage the fact that he took down Big Mom to get the favour of the giants, which could give him a level of protection against/respect from shanks while he’s on the island. He’s also a negotiator, he formed the alliance with Luffy after all. He might straight up try to trade poneglyph etchings with Shanks (if shanks has the last poneglyph). He probably made copies just in case they get taken from him. Shanks also knows Law saved Luffy at marineford, and that he had a formal alliance with Luffy, so he might be more favourable to him than he was to Kid.

Yeah, Kidd would probably try to sink all of Blackbeard's ships, and if Blackbeard was on one of those ships like he was at the start of the fight with Law, we would see a situation of Blackbeard's crew having to be saved from drowning and possibly retreating. But if the fight happens on the island, I don't see Kidd winning, and unlike with Law, Blackbeard probably wouldn't want Kidd's Devil Fruit (all of the Titanic Captains already have fruits themselves), so it is possible he would kill the Kidd Pirates if he doesn't just capture him.
That reminds me, we still don't know what happened to Moriah after he confronted Blackbeard. Was he captured? Did Blackbeard kill him? He confronted Blackbeard before all of Blackbeard's crew were shown to possess Devil Fruits, so I thought maybe he would die and his fruit would be given to one of them, but that didn't happen. If Moria escaped, I would imagine the Kidd Pirates could, too.

Incidentally, with the oh-so-classic Room and Shambles, Law could plant those bubbles directly on top of the Seraphim extremely easily once he saw how effective they are, and he’s a cold, rational guy so he’ll know better than to go easy on S-Snake.
I don't think Law's rooms would work on the bubbles. Those bubbles cancelled S-snakes powers as soon as it touched her. So something similar would happen if Law try to manipulate it directly. Law could throw S-snake at the bubble, or give Lilith some support when getting around.

I feel like the immortality surgery plot isn't supposed to come back. That was only for Doflamingo's character motivation to tie Law and him together. An interesting thought about if Kid went to Egghead. If it breaks out into an all out fight, which I would usually foresee, if Lilith chooses to activate the seraphim to fight them, they are under her direct command. So they then can't be taken over by CP0 or used by York, meaning that Lilith and all the seraphim probably easily roll CP0 and collect Stussy, then either there is downtime and York can traitor unabated or the marine armada arrives and it's the full seraphim, pacifista and other weapon suite vs just Kizaru and whatever else the fleet had.
Also Kid's magnetism could affect most of Egghead's defenses pretty badly. It's almost all metal and nothing has haki to resist his magnetism. I could see him rolling most everything except the seraphim and maybe the pacifista if their bubble shield does have sea properties.
I thought that maybe Jinbei could sink the Blackbeard's ship, while Zoro and Sanji handled Van Auger and Burgess

Couple of scenarios and questions for the Straw Hats vs Blackbeard: What is/could the awakened form of the invisibility fruit be and how would it change how Shiryu fights?
I think it would be insane if this is how Zoro gets his first ever wound on his back. (and maybe only - for a bigger impact/deeper meaning)
Every other swordsman fight with honor to some degree but here comes Shiryu who doesnt care at all and actually prefers underhanded tactics. The opening scene for their fight could be a deep wound in Zoros back and how he has to accept the fact that he has been shamed as a swordsman while fighting him. This forces Zoro to fight in constant oni mode to guard his back and be ready for attacks from all directions until he figures out a way to deal with him etc.
Nami could envelop the Sunny and area close to it in a heavy fog or redirect the light in hazy air to make it appear in another place or be "invisible". Would be really fun to see them use their abilities in strategic ways too.
Robin could reach the next level in battle surveilence by drawing live maps with her ability for each Straw Hat or make her bodyparts appear as a map or an arrow or something to show where the enemies are or whats going on. Make a much more detailed map for a sniping spot that Usopp is in and give him enough information to know where to aim and have him deliver setups or much needed help in all the other fights at key moments. Like he could be the one to bomb Zoro and Shiryus fight with a powder or something that sticks to Shiryu and makes him visible after Zoro has been fighting for a while and cant figure it out. Robin whispers to Zoro to close his eyes and he makes this epic dramatic pose so that the reader/viewer and Shiryu thinks he is going to do some massive move but then Usopps bomb drops in and it was all just so Zoro wouldnt get the powder in his eyes.

Maybe the awakened part of the invisibility fruit is that it completely removes any trace of the user meaning not even basic/mid level observation haki will help you identify the user. Maybe only future sight allows you to get a sense of where the invisible user is or their movements

Kid's interaction with Blackbeard could be interesting. While they'd certainly fight a major battle, I think there's a good chance they'd come to an understanding and work together (i.e. try to use each other). Their goals don't seem like they'd conflict with those of the other all that much.

1. I'm surprised Tekking didn't mention Robin reuniting with Saul when talking about what if the Straw Hats ended up at Elbaf.
2. Honestly, the only interest I could see Kid taking in Pudding would be if he learned of her potential for deciphering Poneglyphs.
3. Another possibility that came to mind regarding Law's arrival at Elbaf would be offering his knowledge and services as a doctor with the Op Op Fruit in return for a brief visit to Elbaf.
I would love to see a situation where Usopp is leveling up his observation Haki to predict where he will warp to

If luffy landed on Elbaph, Shanks would try to run away from him to the point he can't. Blackbeard vs Kidd is an interesting match up. Law would have struggled a lot on Egghead but I think he would agree to take Vegapunk on board with him.

the only other outcome I could possibly see with law and elbaf would be law having a sit down talk with shanks and telling him he realistically doesn't want to be the pirate king. but that he knows there's knowledge based on the void century that he could learn there. I could see that talk sparking shanks attention enough to almost not want fight him but to view him more as an informant of some kind.
I think the only other outcome with Law and Shanks, is a Ace meets Shanks repeat.
Where in a direct parlay with Shanks, Law explains all he's done for Luffy - and in fact....Shanks KNOWS Law is the one who saved Luffy at Marineford. And from there he gives the Red hair crew the full context on everything that has happened throughout their alliance from Punk Hazard onwards...
I think there is a lot of potential that as long as Law doesn't show any hostility towards Shanks... Law is partying with Shanks' crew and then Law books it! Because he knows Shanks beats him no contest, after spending a night partying with him and his crew.
I didn't realize until this video but Law landing on Egghead instead of Luffy would've been so cool to see and such a fun arc
I think it would be possible for shanks to actually know that Law saved Luffy from marineford and stuff and actually invite Law inside the island in a less friendly way than if it was Luffy but still in a friendly manner
You should do a "what if" on various pirate crews entering Long Ring Long Land and confronting Foxy. How many would do the Davy Back Fight? How many would just kill Foxy? How many would take Foxy under their wing? And other permutations.

Thats the thing about the Straw Hats now, they arent just run of the mill pirates anymore. They are almost comparable to the Blackbeard crew, that battle at Onigashima did numbers for them.
I think the fact that smiles are based off of bega Punk's original devil fruit in the first place would definitely make kid want to meet vegapunk to see if he could reverse the effects of the smile on killer

Also Tekking, on Strawhats in Elbaf, you didn't bring up that Zoro might be interested in fighting Shanks or talk about his famous duel with Mihawk.
-Egghead Law stopping Bonnie from attacking VP can result in Baby/ Grandpa Law then he'll still haki out of it.
-Elbaf Law bargains with Shanks to give him an arm and maybe Shanks tries to invite him to join his crew like Marco.
-Egghead Kid, there's a chance if Vegapunk sees Kid charge up his rail gun maybe VP will theorize that Kid can power up Void Century Tech like that ancient giant metal robot Luffy saw. He knows it'll be risky but i feel like VP will take that opportunity.

I think it'd be funny if Stronger tried to beg Chopper for help, but then when Chopper lets his guard down, Stronger lashes out and attacks him and Stronger reveals that he's actually a super evil horse and is more sadistic than Blackbeard and he and Doc Q are in perfect sync and understand each other even if they can't verbally communicate. XD

Maybe Law could sneak onto Elabf and wait for the log post to reset, and then when he sees Shanks's crew leave, He might surface and (if he can gain the giant's trust) meeting Saul.
Also, Shanks should know that Law saved Luffy in Marine Ford and that He allied with Luffy for a long time so that works in Law's favor.
If Shanks brings it up, then Law might even be able to explain to shanks that Bartolomeo is not acting on Luffy's orders (though he is Luffys friend) and that the Grand fleet is self-proclaimed.
It would be really cool to see like Luffy, Zoro and Sanji fight Blackbeard together like they fought the Pacifista on Sabaody. I think it would really highlight their team dynamic and allow them to do some crazy combo attacks we’ve never seen before. Maybe after Sanji rescues Pudding and delivers her to the Sunny, he might join the fight against BB
I could see that happening. Maybe BB catches Luffy and negates his DF and Zoro + Sanji gotta save him or something.

I think another thing to remember for Law, had he gone to Egghead, is that it was known that he and Luffy were allied so he could essentially name drop for some trust/info should Vegapunk mention that. Bringing up Luffy or Robin could prompt some serious conversation and in reverse Vegapunk has info that Law would really want so there could be some mutual agreement coming from that. Plus, perhaps Law could just teleport them out of the dome even while it's up which could get them off the island way faster.
I feel like Law going to Egghead would be a huge crew buff. Imagine Law with Vegapunk on his crew + the Seraphim. This would have helped his crew out a lot in the endgame. Also Bonny would just join Law's crew. Hell Egghead could have become Law's territory and then become a Yonko when BB gets taken out.
Tekking always makes a day worth it
The only bit of reasoning I don't fully agree with, Tekking, is that the Stella body would WANT to meet with Bonney. He was very consistently and deliberately trying to avoid talking to her about her father. He promised Kuma after all. Therefore I think it makes it much more possible Law and Kid just go on their way, or Law goes to get answers, since he has solid reasons to talk to Vegapunk.

The intro is from The Pirates of Dark Water the game from the Super Nintendo.
I remember to watching that show when I was a small kid, my family also had almost all released episodes recorded on vhs tapes.
To honest I didn't remember first, but at the end of this Video when Tekking said it was from a show in early 90s, that got my guessing directly on The Pirates of Dark Water and it's game, but I needed to look up clip from the game from beginning to be sure.
I mentioned this in another video but I'm pretty sure that Shanks and Law would have some kind of conversation. We saw that Shanks is given a dossier on Kid so the same thing would probably happen with Law. It could potentially lead to new information about the D clan.
Yeah given everything we know about Law, he’s not the type to go all out and fight for no reason. He’s a very chilled and layed back guy but also very smart so definitely would know he can’t beat shanks. Definitely try come to some agreement and share some important info with each other.

When the story ends you should totally do a "the entire story of..." For interesting characters, telling their entire story from pre and during the entire show from their perspectives.
For example the entire story of zoro would be his childhood, and then going briefly on every single arc mentioning the stuff that zoro did during each arc. Or for side characters like bonney maybe shorter videos telling all of the stuff we know were going on with her. Could be interesting and build up the legend of some characters after the story ends
Something I think is worth adding for Kid's encounter at Egghead.
Firstly, Kid does have something he could want from Vegapunk. He could want a cure for Killer's SMILE effects.
Second, let's not forget that Kid has the magnetism fruit in the island of technology. The restraint boots out on the Straw Hats probably wouldn't work on him, and there's a ton of scrap with crazy technology on the island.
Besides that, magnets are notorious for wrecking electronics.

When Roger and Whitebeard met they’d try to rob each other first and THEN sit down and party after being forced to respect each other’s strength (like we saw in the Oden flashback). It wasn’t malicious, but pirates are pirates.
That’s the pirate culture Shanks grew up in. He already fights like his former captain so I wouldn’t be surprised if he carried himself that way too. Luffy has road poneglyphs and Shanks is officially moving to get the One Piece now.
That'd be cool yeah. They have a little brawl for fun and then talk business after. Strawhats would def lose but I don't think Shanks would do anything as harsh as what he did to the Kidd Pirates.
I think luffy vs blackbeard would have been interesting cause they have jinbei now. He’s kind of a cheat code cause the guy could just dive under their ship and tear it up. The straw hats are really balanced doesn’t rely on devil fruits and there is a ton of good cohesion between them.
Obviously luffy would have a cool reunion with shanks crew and dorry/broggy.
Something you didn’t mention that would be such an amazing moment if the strawhats went to Elbaf is Robin reuniting with Saul, that would be the single greatest panel in all of manga

Tekking, I think Shanks would have been slightly happy but a bit disappointed Luffy only managed to get 3 Road Ponyglyphs unlike Kid who lacked a translator hence why he needed to get into Elbaf. He would Admire Luffy's strength overall but his fleet and Island management is not undercontrol, which is why I think Shanks will have Bartolomeo prisonor when Luffy meets him due to him ripping the Red Hair Jolly Rogers down (a source of protection). He will threaten Bartolomeo's life because he will explain it's not just Luffy's life on the line but those who follow them and release Bartolomeo if Luffy passed some kind of test.
If you look at the pannel where Kid's crew Surrendered the Ponyglyphs there were already 4 Road Ponyglyphs. The issue is, if Kid did go to Punk Hazard and threaten Egghead, Kid would have to deal with the Seraphim and did not have any interaction with King although they might have spoken with Zoro during the party. The other issue is CP0 will show no mercy alongside sentomaru or the Vegapunks and it would turn into a Warzone. In retrospect it is amazing Kid even agreed to draw straws.

Picture it. They’re evenly matched but every time Usopp is close to hitting him Auger warps. I picture Auger trying to hit the straw hats and Usopp shooting his bullets. Then Usopp realizes that if he’s ever going to hit someone teleporting around it’s almost like he’d have to know where he was going to be teleporting to before he got there. Maybe not realizing it in words but the tense situation causing his future sight to bloom. Then a hype moment where he manages to hit him
He doesn't even know what Haki is yet. I don't have a problem with him getting future sight, but that'd be skipping a couple steps

When you brought up Chopper going up against Doc Q and Stronger, I was thinking I would like to see Chopper team up with Franky in Centaur mode. It would just be funny. Anyway, I think no matter where Kid goes he's screwed, but I think Law would have a chance. I think if he went to Elbaf, Law and Shanks would end up talking. Because Shanks would have a dossier on Law and with futuresight probably would know Law would turn back. Realizing the type of guy Law (smart, reliable, strong), may rush out there to invite him to Elbaf. Shanks may thank Law for looking after Luffy and may exchange info with Law about secrets of the will of D. More of a lore heavy meeting
Its possible Shanks would want to simply talk with Law. He should know about his alliance with Luffy. And that might be good enough to not be immediately hostile.

Worth consideration in Law meeting Shanks instead of Kid is that we are informed that Kid was already on Shanks' shit list from a prior incident, Law might very well be able to just request a peaceful exchange of information solely by virtue of not having attacked Shanks' crew in the past. Kid was quite possibly the worst option among the supernovas to run into Shanks.
You know what I just realized? Stussy probably isn't the person Vegapunk called. One of Blackbeard's ships is on it's way, and we still don't know who the 10th captain of his crew is. Aokiji being the answer to both of those mysteries wouldn't surprise me.

I think on any other situation, Blackbeard and Kidd might actually get along. They both fit into the "Morganeers" description of pirates from Romance Dawn beta-One Piece stories, so they could bond over that. It might be a thing where Kidd specifically hates Shanks because he sees him as a goody-two-shoes Peace Main, and he wouldn't have that animosity towards Blackbeard.
But also, BB was there specifically for the spoils of Wano, Kidd would be aware of that the second he saw him, so they'd still end up fighting if they met on Winner Island.
I think law on Elbaf would go differently. I think that law will mention that he’s in an alliance with Luffy and that will kick off a convo with shanks. Kinda like that scene where shanks in that cave and ace comes in saying that he’s luffy’s brother and they kick it off. Shanks is like “oh you’re friends with Luffy? Come drink! Eat! And tell me stories of your adventures with Luffy.”
Well, technically their alliance is over because they’ve already defeated big mom and Kaido who was the main goal so Law most likely wouldn’t say that because Shanks clearly reads the newspapers and would be aware that Law and Luffy we’re only allied until they defeated Kaido. However knowing Law, he probably would’ve just ended up sharing some info with Shanks and then left.
