- Paul Michael Glaser is an American actor, writer, artist and director best known for his role as Detective Dave Starsky on the 1970s television series, Starsky & Hutch.In between his work writing and directing, Glaser also played Captain Jack Steeper on the NBC series Third Watch from 2004 to 2005, appeared as Al in several episodes of Ray Donovan in the 2010s, and had his first U.S. exhibition of his artwork in 2018.
Today we talk about some of his directing , acting and art as well as modern TV and his upcoming book .

Nice comment. I noticed your last name is Columbo, which found interesting. My grandma who was from Northern Italy & had a very dear friend Whose name was Mrs. Columbo. I have a picture of her on Family Search. But no one's knows who she is. Maybe she is c related to you.

I saw on RUclips where David mentioned that the both of you might do something together that you will be Directing a movie called Hanky & David will be staring in it. If so I hope you also star in it also with David. You two are awesome together & in this day & age we need to see people together loving, hugging, touching & true friendship. We don't need To be 6 feet apart or wearing face diapers. Take care we all love & miss you both. Still waiting for your book to come out! Would also like to see a CD of you singing! Love mr.glaser I grew up in the 1970,s watching S&H as I have put this on other post the episodes off S&H that mr glaser directed are the best off the series you can watch those episodes from season no. 2 ,blood bath season 3 class in crime ,and deckwatch season 4 ballad for a blue lady .I wish he had directed the 3 part episode off S&H from season 4 targets with out a badge .but he did direct the final episode of S&H sweet revenge which was the the closing off the episode targets with out a badge.👍
He was an awesome actor, director, writer & artist. He did an amazing directing in Deckwatch where he had two conversations going on at the same time. I have never seen that before or since. Totally Amazing! Also he helped write the screenplay in Ballard For A Blue Lady besides directing it also. Of course Sweet Revenge was awesome also. Along with Cutting Edge.

Paul, I can't wait for your new book to come out. Do you know when it will come out. I have your first book & waiting for this one! I love your art but I can't afford them as they cost way more then my income for the month. So I am waiting for your new book that I can afford. Until then I constantly watch my DVD's of Starsky & Hutch & they have helped me survive this corrupt political pandemic. It is good to see people smiling, touching & being close to each other. I have not caught this virus yet & I don't play the political game.
