Well, she had to after getting caught not putting their names. Look at "America Has a Problem". That whole melody behind the track is from a Nine Inch Nails song. No credit given.
@@hutch1197 That's not true. The whole song comes from another song called Cocaine. It's a direct lift from a song that came out in the 90s. And she credited the sample. You can't just make stuff up. Why would you even say this?
@moderndaymedusa82 The "Cocaine" sample is not the part I was talking about. It's the low, ominous melody beneath the dance track. Go listen to "Sin" by Nine Inch Nails at the 2:30 mark and then listen to Bey's song at the 0:16 mark. It's the EXACT melody. I'm sure you'll have some sort of required Beyhive defense.
@@hutch1197 If an artist's song has a melody similar to another artist's song but includes their own unique elements, it may or may not be considered a sample. if the similarity is more superficial or if the new artist has significantly transformed the melody and added their own creative elements, it might not be considered a direct sample. Instead, it could be seen as drawing inspiration from the original melody, which is a common music practice. Ultimately, whether it's considered a sample or not depends on factors such as the degree of similarity, the originality of the new artist's work, and whether they obtained permission or properly licensed any elements they used from the original song. So it's up to the band which I listen to as well, but there is no predominant article or feedback on that. It’s the same chord progression but that’s about it. I hope ppl understand the meaning of the title of the song. “Spaghetti” is in reference to the Spaghetti western genre of films such as the ones with Clint Eastwood “A Fistful of Dollars & The Good, Bad, and Ugly” & the OG Francis Nero from Django fame, and, of course, the numerous similar films that originated from Italy (hence the connection to the popular Italian dish). I assume Beyoncé or her team decided the title fits with the song, especially the second part of the song. The main rhythm of the second part sounds as if it would be part of the movie score of an actual Spaghetti western film. Just my two cents though. Could be wrong.
