Its like your death video
You put the barrier at wrong spot. I'm more scarred of chain lash
@@marsya7089 😂 why Tyler's vids. He get lips. Don't worry bots. Look at that beard. It screams flavor saver all day 😂
Lol why are there so many of these bots now
You know it’s sketchy when Tyler hides behind something. 😂
Bonus points for using something janky. 🤣🤣
Lol I thought he was Batman lol
"Osha if your watching this, just move along this is none of your business" describes this channel to a tee.
Not to mention, "Im just gonna keep going till something fails"
@@Hellsarchon facts
I mean to be fair, OSHA has no authority here.
What’s osha
Occupational safety and health administration. They make up bullshit rules that make the work environment "more safe" although anyone who has worked a solid day in their life has violated atleast 87 of their rules 🤣
The "I void warranties" shirt really fits this video
yes
Lol so true
Yep, he's voiding at least 3 warranties in one go
Fits the whole channel, and that's why I love it!
T
You know the danger level is about to go up when Tyler breaks out the safety glasses 👓
I came here to say the same!
And the safety plywood lol
Tyler: Do we just go until something fails?
Us: You do know why we’re here, right?
Right?? Like anyone watching this was thinking “No don’t break it” or “it’s too dangerous just end the video” 🙄 Something better be broken by the end of his video
glad the lock popped out before the 550 cord gave way. That would be a whole lotta energy being released into your hand (or whatever it hit). Unpopular opinion: I don't watch this to see you get hurt.
I don't either. He's too cute, like a little puppy.
I think most of us watch your content to see you eat pickles and drink pickle juice
I watch to see him miraculously not get hurt. He's like some kind of unintentional daredevil.
550 breaking isn't that bad. Not good but it's not heavy rope so it doesn't kill you like with boats.
@@allstarwoo4 the amount of energy that rope is storing is the dangerous part, sending the chain back at a high velocity. Could definitely break some bones.
You probably already know this, but I will say it anyways:
When you are putting tremendous pressure on a chain, you should really put a heavy fabric-like material over it, so of it snaps, it doesn't whip.
You should make a shirt where on the front it says Tyler Tube and the back says "Osha move along this is none of your business." 😂
The lock picking lawyer would be like a click on one , nothing on two , a small click on four, and so on until he says I think we got it.
Your crazy Tyler 😂 Your trying to cut hardened steel with hardened steel! This is actually very dangerous as the hardening process leaves steel very brittle and susceptible to breaking/shattering during use.
Hence the safety glasses and the deployment of the table in a protective manner.
Man. Even I was doing a safety squint just watching.
Knowing the brand of lock is a big thing, anything above 16mm of hardens boron shackle or chain can withstand even portable hydrologic cutters.
I think even a 14mm shackle shattered the teeth of a set of cutters. That being said. If you plan on retesting, I highly recommend more safety measures, cutting a slit in that wood to place lock and cutting teeth threw, as well as being able to apply pressure while not being in bitting distance of a metal hook on a chain that would only come lose once surpassing 2000pounds of pulling force, I want to see you have fun, not end up in a wheelchair from shattering your pelvis.
Awesome try. I was one of the people commenting about strapping the handles together for more force. That was an unbelievable explosion from the lock 😂😂😂
I don't think it gives any more torque. But I'm no physics major.
I hope he tries different tools such as these bolt cutters on that lock. I wanna see what can actually break it
Grinder
@@SICresinwrks grinder be too loud for stealing a bike tbh. If this lock was this strong heck the thief's just cut the bike body
Maybe one of those pipe cutters that you rotate around the pipe?
battery powered side grinder will work
@@skudsurfer you also have to take into account pick resistance. Lock Picking Lawyer on his channel has shown several really beefy bike locks that are easy to pick open making the extra strength useless.
Damn I was terrified the paracord was going to give out and the end of the handle was going to go flying into your hand, that could’ve done major damage to your hand or whatever it hit. Glad to see the lock slipped out before that. Great video it was fun to watch!
So happy to see this. I'm actually very impressed. I thought for sure the handles would give, and you'd end up with a giant toenail-cutter pretzel.
I wouldn't be worried about that chain hitting my hand at that hight... just sayin..
When that baritone swings to counter-tenor!
Tyler's discount vasectomy garage
New series- trying to break that chain lock
Yes, please!!!
You know its significantly more dangerous than normal when Tyler actually opts for safety gear
Tyler, please make sure your will is set up so your executor knows to post the video that does you in. Otherwise we will never know exactly why when you suddenly quit posting content. :P
LockPickingLawyer: Hold my beer for 10seconds
Hi, I work with OSHA, we are a company hell bent on upholding human safety regulations in a work environment. I would like to inform you that this is and always will be the greatest dumb thing you could do. I’m glad you did it and made it out alive. I’ll detour any other OSHA employees looking for you. Fight the good fight brother.
Hey if anything he’s helping you out because you have a channel of things not to do and now it will be ACTUALLY fun to show them lol
Now I’ll know exactly what I’m looking at when I see this entire set up in front of a 7-Eleven. Somebody stealing a bike.
The OSHA joke had me rollin... We used to call them OSH*T at a lumbermill warehouse I worked at.
Yeah, I saw you chuckling about it at Gus's funeral.
I was laughing so hard, you looked up just before you started. It was like God please don't kill me today.
This channel is a great find. Been watching /binge watching for a while now. I like your frequency of videos and general variety. Would love to see Tyler come across with some merch, I know that would require considering how to brand yourself and I see you more as a down to earth guy who isn't interested in marketing himself. Nonetheless it would be nice if you got a survival tool branded with your channel name and logo. Maybe a plier multi-tool. Something you use for unboxings you would think we might like ourselves. You are definitely on the fringe of your channel going viral.
I love watching these random senseless videos every night. Thanks for the great content bro!
0:45 I love “please don’t break” knots. I use them for a lot of my projects. Just tell OSHA you’re making them more “what not to do” videos for them to show people.
Tyler: This is para-cord tied with an I Hope It Doesn't Break knot.
4:18 I must go my people need me
He turned the cutters into a yeeter XD
0:36 GOT EEM! 😂
Short and straight to the point! The U lock is the 🐐 of bike security 🤷🏿!
I got a expensive e bike what is the best bolt proof or angle grinder proof lock in a 150 or below price range
Pewag chain locks
I like the Detail that he put into the Safety Procedures and Measurements!
I saw that handle and chain's path directly into your baby maker. It was pretty sketch, glad you made it out alive
You know stevemre? Every time there's something like "guy eats 100 year old food" you instantly go to him? Every time I hear about someone doing something bonkers in their garage I immediately think of tyler.
My hypothesis is that paracord ain't never lied!
I'm glad to hear you had similar concerns about the safety of your jugular during the making of this video lol
Nah cause it’s the fact that the ad before this video was about the chrome book warranty and then his shirt 💀💀
I like the way the camera is the first thing you checked after the locked slipped out 😂
Hey Tyler! Cool idea to follow up to a video with something short and sweet like this, cool format if the opportunity presents itself in the future.
Also you mentioned your mechanic days, i always wondered what you did before all this to have all this stuff in your garage.
yeah he was a diesel mechanic back in the day
Honestly i think by this time he haa much more youtube video stuff in his garage than mechanic stuff
That shirt is so fitting.
that lock shot out so deadly
there is a limit to the cutting force capable from those jaws, you'd need something like a hydraulic power to produce enough force to make them cut a bar that thick, but this is why grinders were invented!
Well that's one tough lock even Tyler can't break it and that's saying something because he can literally break anything.
Tyler you should try to collaborate with either the Hydrallic Press Channel or The King Of Random (make that channel great again for just one video lol)
The little black bolt sticking out of the side of the bolt cutters is a jaw adjustment. You should be able to adjust those jaws back to where they are closed if you turn it.
huge shout out to that paracord, and those steel nuts of Tyler!
Now you should do some kind of cut test to see what it would take to cut that lock
We call those particular knots "Him Knots" as in him tie it. Him untie it.😂
Used to work security at a quite large shopping center and this is exactly why we only tell people to use u locks on thier bicycles.
That lock rocket about stopped my heart good god
I like the outro song that you have. I never stick around to the outro of any other RUclipsr, because there's really no reason to. But your outro song is so cool that I want to listen to it every time I finish watching one of your videos lol
You really should order some kind of work table that's much more stable. They make folding ones that you could probably lock down to the floor with some kind of brackets, and then remove when you need the space again
At this point Im seriously afraid that one ot these videos will be his last.
This were the six most intense minutes of my week.
Good vids though man I’ve been binge watching em
Put a hydraulic press on the big cutter.
I love how he always has so many angles but never shows many slowmos or good angles haha
This 6 minute video felt like a 15 minute video, i was so stressed out! Holy crap Tyler. hahhaha
Man’s made a entirely separate video to try and break a lock
That adjustment bolt near the cutting head, is meant to be adjusted so you can gain more leverage. Should have started there.
It's funny he's actually worried about his safety in this one.
You just got a new subscriber as I like your a genuine person.
Nice.
Tyler really be tempting faith.
is this the first time Tyler took any type of safety measure?
we may have just witnessed the first time he ever has
0:58 OSHA, if you're seeing this, move along, this is nunya business
Yes OSHA just please leave us alone we are being science , Tyler you are so cool
I’ve never been so nervous watching a RUclips video.
Literally used these exact bolt cutters to cut a bike lock last weekend. I put one handle on the ground and basically was jumping to put my whole weight on one side of the cutters. Worked like a charm. I was even able to return the bolt cutters for a full refund afterwards; they werent damaged at all
now we need to send this to the Hydraulic Press channel to see if his press can do it. :v
Honestly... I loved the excitment and suspense of this video and the result. Im glad it worked out the way it did... I have 1 complaint... could've angled the cameras and given a few replays/slow motions of the lock shooting out. Just a bit of editing is my only complaint and that honestly a minor one... lol
As impressive as that test was, I really would love to see you test that again with hydraulic cutters. You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon and depending on how hardened that steel is it can cut through like butter.
Using hydraulic bolt cutters, that lock would have been toast.
I could be wrong but im pretty sure a lot of bolt cutters are for copper / softer metals you need to make sure its rated for what your trying to cut
Wow so much for my thought of using pipes to extend the handles wowee zowee
Alright now you gotta find something that can break it
You need more leverage. Anchor one of the handles down, on its side. Get a 10ft solid metal pole and weld it onto the other handle. More leverage translate to more force
Man, that was nerve-wracking.
How you are still alive amazes me
Honestly same
The shirt is awesome lol!
nice! i was thinking exactly the same watching the last video!
I can not believe you remained thinking of breaking the lock 😂😂🤘. There is a life to cut such locks you have to put the lock in a fixed place and use the front edge of the breaker in the external parts of the metal rod to become weaker. Good luck
Need to send that lock to Matt over at demolition ranch
I'm not going to lie, i feared for your safety even more this video then normal
Try leaving 5 different food things in rock tumblers? 🤔
I love that shirt, it's brilliant
@@emilia3266 christ can you just leave me alone I hate having my comments botted
So basically, u bar will guard your item or cause a big production to defeat it in public broad daylight. Not to mention it will pose a danger to the thief on multiple levels.
Tyler you should try a dremel if you want to get through that kind of lock.
Rock and roll man
The Handles of the cutter are designed to bend if subject to more pressure than the cutter can stand.
If you took a dremel or a hacksaw then these bike locks are super easy to cut!
lol great video! at least it didn't explode
too bad you didnt have a little meter in the come-along to estimate the amount of force that was.
See that bolt on the cutters try to screw that in for a better grip on a wide bite
I need you to now break into that lock somehow
Nice shirt, that is my old gamer tag from back in the day
Alright, I need the make and model of that lock, right now!
same
im sure every guy watching this wasn't worried that if the paracord failed it would hit tyler in the hand
