Welcome to my little experiment. "The Beauty We Have In Me" is the first(?) musical poetry video album about the impact some of my favorite pieces of media have had on me throughout my life, while trying to pay homage to the movies/shows themselves.
I find sometimes I'm moved or spoken to very profoundly through the most unexpected moment in media. I'm touched, impacted, and changed through these moments. whether it was just the right timing, or completely out of left field. These interactions with art: They help me navigate the gray area between white and black. They challenge me, inspire me, and often times offend me for a moment; but they all lead me to confront the gray, the pain and shame I'm battling on a daily basis, to better my being and my strengthen my beliefs.
This project is me trying to encapsulate how those precious, and rare moments feel to me; the best I can, as authentically as I can.

The soothing steady beating.
Minutes turned hours strayed.
I understand your worried,
This situations wild.
Two kids lost in the machine.
Will we enjoy the breeze again?
But I won't give up on growing up,
There's cool things here I think.
Who needs childhood,
When you can make a childhood.
Let's make it magical for them.

I still get all giddy seeing you wear that ring.
Now I'm sitting here waiting for you to get home, look up to the sky I see a shooting star.

I pinch myself when I see how pretty you are, it's safe to say I love you for who you are.
