Boiled over? I think it doesnt have to boil completely to retain the foam

Thanks for your insight! You're right; the key to a good coffee is in controlling the heat to get the perfect foam without letting it boil over. Appreciate your input!

We used to call it Turkish coffee up until the invasion of Cyprus and the events unfolded afterwards.

I know it's a hotly debated topic owing to national pride, and you should never order Turkish coffee in Greece, but they're basically the same and brewed in identical manners.

No such thing as Greek coffee. There is historic evidence that Greeks even called it Turkish.

The Ottoman empire only adopted what the Byzantine empire started. The coffee might be the only exception

there is also no such thing as turkish coffe because its arabic😉its the method which distinguishes greek coffee from turkish coffee.
greek called it "turkish" because greek was opressed and wasnt even allowed to use the greek language, just like kurds today.
even today turks are afraid to call greek greek but call it "rumeika" which means roman instead of greek.😂😂😂
