What a rewarding way to spend an hour! Baroness Cox sparkled and illuminated her way through the challenges of our time, highlighting grace along her journeys and inspiring us with the breadth of her experience and insight. Conversations has showcased many a gem. Here though is a crowning jewel. Congratulations Mr Anderson on choosing this guest and on your deft touch as an interviewer.

Outstanding interview. This eloquent, humble woman brought me to tears with her stories of suffering. Thank you, Mr. Anderson; a badly needed conversation.

Great interview style, you give the guest enough time to elaborate without interjecting. Wish you would post more often thoroughly enjoy all the conversations thanks John.

Why does simply speaking the truth cause such turmoil? Thank you Mr. Anderson and Baroness Cox. Remember. Totalitarianism does care what the ideology it controls is called. Organize and act.

This is fast becoming my number one favorite RUclips channel! Really enjoyed the Peter Hitchens interviews. And this interview even better! Thank you I feel as though I've found the adult room on the internet.

I'm not a fan of politition's BUT I enjoy your conversations. I am very independent and don't like people taking care of my problems or my money. When I have been poor I was hungry. For food and work. I did not need help all I needed was opportunity. There are many times I've heard the opposite in political twilight zone. By the way thanks Mr Anderson for the good talks.

Thank you for this interview. Further left than communism means Islamism and hypersensitivity in general. Interesting comment.

Yet another demonstration that ALL of the deeply unpleasant people in current British politics are REMOANERS (not 'remainders': for the difference, listen to ROD LIDDLE speaking with BRENDAN O'NEIL) or from the LABOUR PARTY or (what used to be called) the extreme, fascist, 'left' (National Socialists). Where Caroline Cox errs (in my opinion) is in claiming that "there are many verses in the Koran which are eirenic", and that it is a matter of "interpretation" whether or not these, or the more violent "sword" verses should form the basis for ISLAM. The answer is BOTH MUST BE GIVEN EQUAL WEIGHTING. ISLAM is the most fundamentalist cult on Earth.
    a) It is 'dualist': dividing Human Beings into two - Muslims (loved by 'allah') and non-Muslims (hated by 'allah'). There are no other 'categories'.
    b) ISLAM = KORAN + MOHAMMED. The latter is the finest exemplar of ISLAM. His life and teachings are to be found in the SUNNA (Sira + Hadiths). These do not pain a morally 'good' person.
Thus, ISLAM differs from EVERY other 'religion' on the planet, in that it actively seeks to CONQUER and SUBDUE for 'allah'. The more peaceable parts of the Koran may not be 'excised' and used to provide a 'version' of ISLAM, which happens to be convenient for our Political Class, our Police, sir Caroline Cox. ISLAM is what it is. A nasty, cruel, violent, supremcist, anti-humanitarian, cult; which has no business in the World of Human (or Animal) Rights.

Great interview, what an inspiring Christian lady. But please keep the camera on the person speaking and don't keep switching back and forth. Or have both speakers in view at all times, found it great to listen to but difficult to watch.

The stories of forgiveness make me squirm with embarrassment. Of course I have never taken revenge. And of course I will forgive everyone who even remotely acknowledge that what they did was wrong. That makes sense in the world. However, expecting someone to forgive torturers who don't even acknowledge what they do is wrong, and continue doing so, seems like a further victimisation of the victim, who, in addition to her injuries, has to prove that she is a good person by "forgiving." Or perhaps these declarations of forgiveness might give the victim a sense of superiority. Perhaps. The falseness of it just makes me squirm. Like listening to discordant music. It falsifies and cheapens true forgiveness, and the effort it takes.
