Wow. What a connection with the crowd. It's insane how well Parkway Drive and the Rock am Ring crowd work together. Unbeliveable. They keep matching each others energy. Such a good festival and such a good band.
He is the man. Dude couldn’t do anything but scream, what he said in his interviews. Found his voice and is one of the BEST in metal consistently Also. How awesome are the Aussies for real?! If not for the wildlife, of my homegrown business I’d more there lol

Was originally "12" years, but hell yes i agree- i heard the new version for the first time last year at monsters of oz, fuckin gave me chills. Baaad ass.
This year I watched them live on the other festival Rock im Park. It was my second PWD show and I should say this band is one of the best bands live right now! These guys have insane energy live! We were 10 meters away from the stage when the show started and ended the show 50 meters back. The whole crowd was one big circle pit and it was an outstanding experience! Can't wait to see PWD again someday!
One of my personal highlights out of the whole weekend... very powerful connection between band and crowd. Many thanks! I was in 3-4 line the whole time.
I just realised I was one of the early fans of parkway drive ever since they were playing much smaller concerts. Had this epiphany the moment I saw the size of the crowd! This band just gets better & better!
You can talk a lot of shit about the new stuff they released but you can’t doubt how tight they are and how good their classics sound with this mich production value behind it

Yeah he is a power house, when a vocalist goes at it like this I almost endear them more as a fan I don’t want them to hurt them selves but it’s like watching a guitarist drummer or bassist doing their solo and just sweating bullets! It’s like watching someone ride lightening. There is nothing like it!
An essential watch for any Parkway fan is the episode of the venerable TV series 'Australian Story' which documented their own SOME KIND OF MONSTER scenario.
Omg chronos….That song just hits. If they did just an instrumental of that I could listen to it all day. That was the best performance I have ever seen of that song.
Ever since I saw them boys live at Wacken 19 they became my favourite band in the game. Especially Winstons stage presence as a frontman is outstanding imo

People can say whatever they want about the direction Parkway Drive went with their music in the more recent albums, this entire video is just Parkway showing that they're still one of the best to ever do it.
@@MJ-nk7mp Theres not doubt the mainstream likes simpler and easily digestible but that doesn't mean they can't include some bangers as well. I dont care for the newer dad rock sound and bulletproof vest combat boot aesthetic but I've met them twice and its hard not to root for nice people. Its just feels a bit contrived as they are 5 surfers that grew up on punk and hardcore. Their sound doesn't represent any of that anymore as its closer to typical radio hard rock.

Holy shit these guys are good live. I've heard of them since their inception but never paid them much attention after I didn't care for their earlier stuff. The lead guitarist can shred, drummer is really good, and the singer has massive stage presence. Then you've got Peter Forsberg on rhythm guitar.
Saw them last September at the accidental tour opener for the Monsters of Oz tour (good job Blue Ridge Rock Fest) in Atlanta. Was an amazing show, too bad they didn't drag the hamster cage across the pond for y'all because watching Ben drum upside down was epic as fuck.
This was the best I've seen them in years! I know Winston's voice was playing up and I actually think that helped him to achieve even more aggressive lows. Though I hope it wasn't just down to him being ill and that that's just how awesome his lows are now once again! But he sure sounded like he was set to kill 😍🖤🤟🏼

The Sound engineer deserves absolute praise. Love how Jeff and Lukes guitars sound in this mix!
