I used this live recently. loading scenes on the fly was very nice. I just named them _01... etc to put them at the top of the list, building a setlist. Sounded great live.
While i'm not a fan of the sound (you know, typical thin high-resy RPI sound) BUT the price and the visual style is everything here. Also i'ma big fan of the colour pads (after long years with Launchpads i play on pads better than on regular keyboard) and for sure i'm gonna play the hell out of this pad keyboard! It's like a dream come true! I will absolutely use it as a controller for my analog synthesizers. This one is a must buy for me. Props to Poly dudes not making in 899 or something. Also once again best presentation on YT coz of the good music you make! Thanks bro
That would be a killer combo! The LM Drum looks great. I use LinnDrum samples on literally every record, so if they can pull it off I will probably get one too
Just bought mine. This really helps. Can't wait until it shows up. Make a video showing off the sequencer. I want to know how that works since this is a unique synth.
Really great video. As a Synth owner, I'd really like to know how you made some of those jams. You either created or found an amazing brass lead sound. Where did you find that? I'm all about brass and strings. I find much of the synth engines/presets too lo-fi for my tastes. Love the arps/sequences you created!
Thank you! I can't remember if I made that one or tweaked a preset , but VAP is the one for brassy leads. Bladerunner preset is a great start, but if you make your own, its all about detuning saw waves and then getting the envelopes right (medium attack, long decay, long release)
The second or third jam that you show on your video has the best arpeggiated playing I've seen on the Polyend synth. I'd love for you to create a step-by-step video on how you created that arpeggiated rhythm
oh, and one more thing, I think the Polyend Synth will be my next hardware synth, I see they already have poly after touch, I do hope they add MPE support so MPE midi controllers can work their magic with it, but maybe that goes against what this is, so what do I know haha
I actually think this is pretty safe from being plug-in-ified, because the Synth is 100% all about the performance UI with the grid pads and key/note follow. The sound is good but not that special . It’s all about how you play it

right on! I bet this would be fantastic for live performance. Did you make use of the note/part follow modes?

@@Jason_Drums_ glad you enjoyed the demo man!
@MilesAwayOfficial Always do my friend 👌 🙏🏼
Seriously considering one of these along with the coming Behringer LM Drum. I think that would be an awesome little setup to have at home!

@@wendelynmusic right on! Enjoy your new synth and glad I could help! Sequencer is standard but the scale lock is cool. Might make a short, stay tuned

Very cool, I wonder if we are going to get a end of year retrospective looking at all the best gear you used that came out in 2024?
@@JoshuaSimonson909 that video is coming! It’s my yearly tradition :) stay tuned

Sounds very nice! I may have to get one in the future for that inspiration of creation.
It’s a ton of fun for sure!
I love Polyend and I would love to buy this but, I'm worried they will bring a plus version out in about 10 months.
