I'm just imagining the serious and dedicated poly bridge community utterly clueless and confused as to why the hell so many bridges have knobs on them now. RCE must be the bane of their existance, i love it
Funnily enough the poly bridge community (which is the discord server) aren't that confused, we're now just trying to flood the gallery with cool and interesting solves so we get in the videos instead :D
You can tell he's doing architecture more because it's ludicrously over budget and failed dozens of times when a normal suspension bridge could be done first try under budget lol

I love the casual disregard for reality. "We're not going to use a hydraulic." "So your idea is for cars to deliberately fall off the end?" "Yeah, I figure we can get it down to about $13k." "Love it."
Thank you Sky Cake for bridges that were a nice change from some of the usual in the gallery, creative and entertaining (especially the hidden message!)
I would honestly enjoy a video of just you going through and reviewing other people's Bridges. I imagine the developer just loves going in there and seeing everyone's beautiful knob Bridges.

Yes! I was hoping for a poly bridge video last night. Have you thought of making a Mexican bridge video? I was thinking the Buluarte, Puente de el Papa (Bridge of the Pope), or Puente de la Unidad (Bridge of Unity).
The secret to Masterclass architecture and engineering is knobs. Knobs everywhere. Since the beginning of time, knobs. Obelisks? Knobs. Rockets? Knobs. Pinnacle of creation.
I just downloaded the game thanks to these videos, and now I can say I am truly using my engineering degree for fun while challenging my mind! Thanks for the idea RCE, please continue this series 👏🏽👏🏽
I love how he censored the level while it was being played, even tells off the author for joking about "the other thing" and then doesn't censor the thumbnail, whre everything can be seen perfectly. Now I believe he is a real engineer...
I'm late to the party here, but I have to say that I really loved the slightly extended section of the video where you optimized your design. I found that absolutely fascinating. Cheers!
Would have been interesting to see if tensioning across the center (side to side) would have worked on your architectural circle bridge, instead of upgrading a large portion to steel.
Nothing wrong with dangling road; in fact it's probably the most "engineer" out of all the designs. Considering this game has different physics to the real world (and was never intended as a realistic sim) an engineer in the polybridge world would definitely exploit the tensile strength of road to make dangling road.
I swear I saw RCE in a van a week ago... It said 'Beaver Bridges: Civil Engineering' on the side and RCE said he lives in North Wales, which is where I saw the van.

Architecture is not about how functional it is, it’s about that you like the look of it. Engineering is about… Wait I’ve gone off track!
architectural engineering
I bet he would be paid more as an archetect...
I'm glad you saw my all road bridge. I was worried you wouldn't find it because it was neither on the last page nor one of the top few cheapest.
I aspire to make magical and ingenious hydraulic bridges like you. Every time I saw your name, I knew I was in for a treat. Well done engineer!
It's so cool that Sky Cake did this and you actually saw it. You've got a great community.

"lets try and look at the nonknob ones" **clicks on a knob filled bridge made of knobs with dangling knobs**
Haven't watched it yet but this made me laugh my ass off :)
🤣🤣🤣
Anyone can build a bridge, only an engineer can build a bridge that barely stands
And only veteran engineers can build bridges that break immediately after being crossed
Love this comment
Only an architect can make a bridge that rapidly lowers in altitude when it’s crossed (it’s one way trip, though, no going back up)

Just building to specs boss, I didn't see any clauses on the state of the arriving vehicles.
Edit : can't spell my way out of a wet paper bag.
Nothing in the spec said it had to be a two way bridge either.

Nice one Sky Cake! I’m a fan of the designs!
I've never watched anything on this channel before, nor have I ever heard of Poly Bridge, but this was really fun to watch.
Hi Sky Cake!
12:37
RCE is literally an architect
i love it
15:17 Good job, cutter.
Look at the 2nd row, very right
Glad to see more Poly Bridge 2!

I have joined the bandwagon of making cool solves :D
I HAVE ACHIEVED MY GOAL OF BEING IN BOTH AN RCE VID AND A REID VID FINALLY!!
15:24 i like when RCE blurs the main video but forget to blur the background one lol
Amazing. Clean, fun to watch and SO educational. Great job! Thanks you so much!!!!

alright, that deserves a subscription.
Hello fellow engineer Sky cake!
That first bridge looks like something out of Dr Seuss. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Engineers hate this one simple trick!
Watch how some pancake constructs bridges without supports. (0/10 Engineer Reccomended)
I don't know why this series is so underrated, what the hell
I have never seen such beautiful video in my entire life…
Appreciate the throw back to original content. Please more Infra!
I love how they included literally the entirety of the last game in this game
RCE: I'm afraid thats a drink too far
also RCE after 5 seconds: Look at that sack it's so dangly
8:11 the stress on that bridge is 99,9 😂😂😂
I put your poly bridge videos on to sleep. I mean that in a good way, they are sort of comforting. Thank you.

Hello fellow engineer [sky cake] nice work mate!
There are hilly bridges! You'll see some pretty extreme bridges on mountain roads, they have steep slopes to work with.
