    I love & collect flashlights as well as knives I own 30 flashlights this one in particular the EDC 33 is one of my all time favorite flashlights tons of power awesome battry life it does get warm that's totally alright with me! High lumens small light it's a given. Nitecore went next level! I LOVE BIG RED but he didn't even scratch the surface on this light! IM actually going to purchase 1 more for me & 1 for each of my immediate family members! YES ITS THAT GOOD!!!!

    So tempted. But a few flaws, u can’t use the full 4000l constant. It drops down fast. Also a built in battery, it’s a no from me. I have a few nitecores. I’m thinking P23ix. Holds the higher lumen longer, also can swap a battery out.

    I'd be ok with the surge being short-lived as that is generally how a surge protection or surge overflow circuit works in general. The overheating could be a problem. Unless you live in Wisconsin and you need to use it on a cold winter's night. Then it's also a hand warmer!!!! :)

    The lite is nicely built and feels good in the hand, but I do not like the switch. It is very finicky. I have trouble just getting it to stay on. Then once it’s on, I have to use the lock button to turn it off. Maybe it’s just me?

      What's confusing in a simple two stage button? Slide up or down the side button to lock/unlock the light, when the light is unlocked a single click turn on the light, single tap to change modes. Hold the button halfway then you get the spotlight, full press and hold you get the "lumin shield" that's just a powerful temporary floodlight mode.

    • @FlashBro-r4w
      @FlashBro-r4w 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@LorenzoCoselli bro… you got 4 seconds to take your light out without dropping it first of all, second you got 1 shot to hit that unlock switch, 3rd you better hit that lumen shield.
      That’s 3 steps. 1 of them goes wrong, you’re done, stabbed or lacerated.
      Not saying the light is not intuitive… it is. But think of it like this. In the span of 4 seconds someone with a knife can close the distance from 20 feet. And it will QUICK.
      Even with a gun you have to pull it out, aim and fire. Sometimes you don’t even have that!
