Hi. Please what's the name of the black "flux" you used to hold down the resistor before soldering?
it called rosin, it is a yellow color, but when it heated become dark color

that resistor was corroded and tested as open
I have one that starts and displays a few seconds and stops, the fan does not work even if I changed it
