It's gonna be tough for me to come back to the game, not just given the time that I got for the rest of the day, but also because my Lenovo laptop does not have anything to jack in a LAN cable to give it a better connection. I suppose using a PS5 is out of the question?
I guess you can buy a USB to ethernet adapter. Those are relatively cheap on Amazon. Make sure you check the reviews before making the buy. I have read that some people have used the PS5 connector to play but I don't think it makes for a good experience overall. Here is a link how to pair it with a computer - www.ign.com/articles/how-to-pair-ps5-controller-to-pc Maybe try it out for a bit and if it sucks, you can move over to a old school USB controller that is similar to a Genesis or SNES controller. Hope this helps :)
You can play on wi-fi! The thing is that for some people the connection is not stable enough and you get laggy/stuttery gameplay. I think it's worth trying on wi-fi and seeing how it goes. If it's too laggy, then you can look into a USB-ethernet adapter. Note that it seems like the person with the bad wi-fi connection sees a smooth game and their opponent with good internet sees the lag, so people will tell you your connection sucks and then you know you need to get a USB-ethernet adapter.
@@smozoma Mah friend, I've gone down that road plenty of times way back when and I wised up about it. I want to make things easier if I do decide to come back, but it's gonna be tough. I am wondering about finding one of those USB ethernet adaptors that work for a decent price, and look into Bluetooth game controlloers too. You're most likely to remember who I am. :)
@@chaosgreyblood adapter: TP-Link UE306 (they're probably all equivalent but this is a real brand). Wireless Controller: What i hear is that the 8bitdo 2.4GHz (not Bluetooth) controllers are good. Personally i use a USB controller because i don't mind the cable. I do hear that if you are one of the people who really pushes the buttons hard, the D-pad an a lot of controllers don't last long so in that case your best bet is an original controller with a Mayflash USB adapter.
Very well done. I’ll share this out. Thanks Len!
Cheers 😀
Thank you, folks! 🍻
Cheers! Hopefully this helps some folks with getting online and playing some games :)
Doing God’s work, my man!
👍
nice job, len
Cheers :)
