No matter how much you tell her, the only way she gonna learn is by practicing a million times then suddenly one day everything is gonna make sense

100%. Before I got my CDL some years back, I watched countless video tutorials on how to back. They gave me a general understanding, but none of them real helped me out to be honest. It's just something you dial over time.

Keep practicing! I heard if your at a truck stop that is open and, you have time, practice backing!! It will come !! Rock on my Werner Brother!!!!

I used to do that. I'd practice at a truckstop (Buttonwillow TA), miss a few times, get pissed off and leave. Then drive into LA and have very little backing. But, the truckstop practicing thing failed every time I tried.

it is convenient to have that little orange cone, place it on the ground, on the left side of your truck, and tell the beginner that the trailer axle should get closer to that cone. when you hit that mark, you start turning your trailer until the trailer comes in line with the dock approach.

I remembered when the first time I started I was suck, now I can do this with my eyes closed, I pretty much learned how to backing on my own.

I think that's the way it is for everyone. You learn the basics in school, but it's pretty much trial and error, until you get enough experience.

I just saw a video about this trainee and she's a trainer now and it looks like she forgot how she started doing trucking and that she had great help and a great trainer coming up that took the time to explain her everything the way you are supposed to but like i said she's a trainer now and she's not taking the time to explain to her trainees so sad to see people like this girl that forgets that they were rookie once her trainee was struggling bad trying to make an alley dock parking and she didn't even went to him or talk to the trainee other drivers in the truck stop was basically helping this poor student

Too much information being given all at once. Let her set up then give instructions when she’s about to hit something.

Guys. The RUclips channel _My Trucking Skills_ is super helpful. And he has gaming software for both your laptop and your phone.
I'm not a trucker. But his tips have helped me play better ATS/ETS2. Unfortunately I can't buy his software because I have to make the money last until I hear back from Disability Canada.
