      You and Mike from the Crochet Crowd. I am a lefty. I’m looking at this pattern I would really love it if you would re-shoot how to make the foundation roll from the beginning because your hands are far away from the from the camera in the one that I saw. I will go through other ones now and starting this one to see if it’s there I hope I haven’t spoken out of turn but I just remember really wanting to find just that alone and be able to see it. Well thank you for all you do!! Beautiful patterns, beautiful spiritual healing gifts 🎁 Christ Jesus glory. Blessings.

    I agree I wish I had found Toni 6 years ago. Such a patient clear teacher. Once I've done my loveland shawl.. current Wip, I will be moving on to the Omar! Ya know... I heard Toni does all her crochet in a blacked out room with a blind fold on while listening to the sounds of pins drop and cats meows, that's how good she is!! 🤣🤣🤣
    Ok ok just in case my 'funny' doesn't translate well
    I was totally kidding!! It's not pins drop its birds chirping! 😜😁

    Hello Toni…I made my first Omar Shawl and it turned out beautiful (used Mandala Ombre Felicity yarn); however, my daughter wished that it was wider and longer when I gave it to her (birthday gift). So I took it back and added 6 more rows at the bottom, that did make it longer, but it was disproportionate width-wise where the fullness should have been. She said it was okay and that she was happy with it, but I am not and am ordering more Felicity color to make her another one. In addition, I have 2 more daughters’ I’m make the same shawl for as birthday gifts as soon as I know how to modify the size.
    Please advise me how best to increase the width and length of the Shawl so it is properly proportioned. Unfortunately, I am not experienced enough to know how. Thank you in advanced for your advice and help. Kind regards, Janice W.

    I love it, but I want to use an acrylic yarn (hypoallergenic) and my understanding was that there's no sense in blocking acryllic. What do you think? Isn't there a way to put the edging all the way around instead of just on two edges?

    • @TLYarnCrafts
      @TLYarnCrafts  3 года назад +4

      You can and should block acrylic. You can put a border if you want, but that likely will not even out your edges. I have a video on blocking acrylic that might shed some light on things.
