Thank you for another great dinner menu Kevin! I was sharing your site with a friend and she kept saying that you reminded her of someone… but who? Then she exclaimed exclaimed “ Mr. Rogers! But for grownups”! Your kindness, your calm comforting demeanor, your gentleness with your audience, your wonderful ability to teach…. I think she’s right. Have you been told this before by other fans?

I'm sitting at my kitchen table, eating Aldi macarons and planning my garden stripe of dirt to plant in May! I live in Chicago land, so zones 5 a and b Native plants are required. Teplow Blue Globe Thistle. Henryi Turk's Cap lilies, and orchid frost lamium. My building is mid century modern so the shapes will work well. Thank 😇you for letting me be your guest!

Lovely spring dinner! I appreciate how you have set a place for me, and that I can see the beautiful fire in the fireplace while I "dine". The menu looks delicious. The pasta is serious comfort food for me. I can almost taste it, and with a nice goblet of white wine. Yum! Of course I am a fan of roasted red peppers anything. Who wouldn't love the berry crumble with ice cream to complete the meal. Table setting by the fire is great as per usual. I can't wait to see the apple blossoms bloom eventually. The menu -- brilliant! What I also always enjoy are your bonus "tips," such as freezing strudel to have on hand, and one of my favorites, freezing celery. Of course there are many others too...all noted and appreciated. Truly enjoy your delightful videos!

I have seen many a cream pasta sauce in my life…but a mint, parsley, pea, and bacon cream pasta sauce!!! I must try this for myself…WOW!
I'm cooking 3 entrées right now because I have been under the weather and not in the mood to cook. This trio still looks delightful.

Can't wait to do the pasta recipe. It is rather a mystery to me as to why a thickening agent is added to the fruit in US pies and crumbles. In the UK we just enjoy the juice as it is. If I did decide to add thickener, I think I would try arrowroot, which would produce a clear and glossy result. I occasionally make a steamed pineapple sponge pudding, using tinned pineapple chunks; I crush some of the chunks and add to the mixture and put some whole chunks in the bottom of the bowl first. While the sponge
is steaming, heat the remaining chunks and juice in a saucepan and thicken with arrowroot. Turn out the pudding and top with this sauce/glaze and serve with a rich custard. A little lemon juice in the sauce is good. Enjoy the spring David.

The crab apple blossom will be lovely - such a good tree whatever the size of your garden with upright growth, delicate blossom and glowing fruit. If you can bear to pick the fruit jt makes wonderful jelly esp. good with lamb or game. To intensify the colour of the jelly add a few blackberries. The two favourite crumbles in the UK are rhubarb, flavoured either orange zest and juice or ground ginger and cinnamon flavoured apple, made with our unsurpassed Bramley cookers. The Prince Albert comes a close second. The British folk singer Billy Bragg sings a song in praise of rhubarb crumble!
While I don’t care for peppers or feta that pasta dish looks amazing and I’m going to try it. Your videos are so calming and gentle. Keep going!

Spring is almost here; although in UK it is raining a lot! Love that pasta dish, I make it for my grandsons; one of which insists I put a squeeze of lemon juice on it as I serve it. I do love a crumble; any fruit is okay with me. 😋
