I used your previous circle skirt tutorial to make a ball gown skirt using the half circle skirt tutorial. I included pleats in the back for a fuller silhouette and I did that by making my waist measurement larger and adding an extension panel to add fullness while keeping the half circle shape.
I use circle skirts in a lot of historical designs, especially on jacket peplums, sleeve flounces, sleeve puffs, ruffles on petticoats, and many other things like ball gowns and day dresses.

I love the quick tip template!! I found the radius by taking half of my waist measurement and dividing it by 3.14 then multiply that by 4 (14/3.14x4) Just a different formula that I think is just a tad bit easier. Thank you so much.

Hello LA MODÉLISTE, thank you for sharing your experience with us who love to know best about preparing different kinds of Circle Skirts. I have a question for you; about the cardboard that you used @1/4 Circle Skirt, you took 4/8" or 1.3cm at the edges of the cardboard. Did you take the same measurement for the cardboard edges you used at 1/2 and Full Circle Skirts? Thank you again. I am Workie from Ethiopia-Addis Ababa.
