We just got one 2 weeks ago and love it - another great feature it has for parents is the ultra-sonic rear seat alert system. When you turn the vehicle off, if it senses movement in the back seats it reminds you to check them. Also after 20 seconds of the car being locked if it still senses movement it sets the alarm off. Great safety feature to prevent kids left in hot cars!
Yes!!! I tested this feature out with obvious close observation but it did honk and it was loud and there was no way to disable the alarm without actually getting in the drivers seat.
Hi Josh how long did you have to wait for yours. I put an order in early august to be built in the chez republic for delivery to Uk and was told late November/December . Regards Steve
@@million1094 I waited to purchase one from a dealer that was delivered already. I asked when shipments were coming in. Had to be flexibility on color
Hi Josh our local dealership tried to get a white one which you would have been the most easy to get but no. And it seemed other dealers were naturally keeping their stock for themselves. Never mind keep waiting. I do hope you enjoy yours. Regards Steve
@@million1094 thanks - yeah I just asked the salesman to keep me posted on what shipments they had coming in. I shopped around 6 dealers in my state to monitor when one came in. Definitely was a challenge
I just bought the Tucson Hybrid and I love it. Would 100% recommend the Hybric SEL since you get pretty much all you want and the Hybrid is so much more of a powerful drive. One thing that is big to note (and was big in my decision) was it had the largest cargo space in its class (Compared to CRV/RAV4/Outback) and larger back seat than all of them too (Which you noticed when you sat back there). Absolutely love the car and would recommend
I would love to see you carry and place your purse with each tour. All of us moms carry a purse pretty much all the time, so it's important to know where it would fit without impacting the passengers.
Love that you did this tour! My husband and I just put a deposit on the 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL w/ convenience package. We got it for MSRP price and it gets here in a month! We have our first baby on the way and I know this is going to be the perfect car for our family!

Love how you’re doing a variety of vehicle sizes now. I drive an Atlas but my husband will be needing a new car in 2-3 years. Will need to fit 2-3 car seats for the rare occasion he does daycare pickup etc but for the most part he doesn’t need a large vehicle like I do.
I love the Tucson😍 It’s my dream car. The portfino grey is gorgeous, so is this blue color.

I love the Tucson, but was worried about fitting 2 car seats in the back since it’s small, but this is great news! I’d love to see more angles of the space between the backs of the front seats and the car seats - my husband is almost 6’ but we know his seat can’t touch the car seat behind!

You missed one of Hyundai/Kia's most incredible features! All of the upper trims with the digital display have a full camera that loads up and shows you the blindspot side angle of the car each time you put your blinker/signal on. Left for left/right for right. I'm so surprised you didn't put that in!

One feature I just noticed on my 2022 limited Hyundai Tucson is the buttons under the rearview mirror. I think they are to program a garage door opener. There are 3 of them. Do you know?
I have a 2016 Tuscon and I'm not loving the new body style. Too many angles but I do like some of the new features. I'm also wondering why they got rid of the sunglass holder. My sport has one and the middle seat belt is also not on the seat. I have just one child and we are looking to upgrade to something bigger because it is not a lot of cargo space.

Could you do the Toyota Venza?? Although I’m a mom of teens, I don’t have strollers. Instead I have lax equipment. need leg room in the back for my TALL daughters. I also don’t need the huge suv anymore, because the kids are driving. I need a car for long road trips to visit colleges.

Reclining rear seats and diffused air are good features you missed
The Extend2fit won’t fit 3 across. It won’t in most vehicles. There are other seats that would work better and you’d want seatbelt install for all 3 🙂

I hate that the gear shift on the consoles are going away. I love the gear shifts. Always been a feature I’ve loved for whatever reason.

Most reviewers except a few pointed out the safety issue of having turn indicators and reverse lights in rear very low rather than at eye level. Most car reviewers often discuss the specs which can be found on internet but don't really comment on experience.
I definitely see Mustang Mach-E when I see the rear end on the Tucson!

Kelly, love your reviews. Which you would slow down when going over features in driver seats. So much to take in. Also, to all car manufacturers my next car purchase may hinge on sunglass holders. Really need to keep these.

Not great on MPG compare to CRV and Rav4.
Full touch screen infotainment which is Risky while driving. You can't control all everything from steering wheel controls.
Infotainment is full glass so it will catch dust, scratches easily.
Other reviewers mentioned about trunk and air vent issues as well.
I find everything is very easy to use on touchscreen and sensitive so works without delay. As far as mpg i bought the limited hybrid and average 40-48 mpg highway driving 38 mpg. So i dont see it being bad. I leave it in smart drive not sport and use the adaptive cruise a lot saves on gas for whatever reason.
IMO the SEL with convenience + premium pkgs gives you 95% of what you get on a Limited, for a lot less.
I agree. Just picked up my SEL premium and it has everything I need. The only thing I wish it had is the lane change cameras.
Excellent review! I got a 2020 SEL Silver Tucson I really like it. But I do like the 2022 Tucson design and styling better. Tough call. I got only 9000 miles on it. Mint condition.

What do you think of the center seatbelt? Is it even usable for a car seat? I just did a seat check and couldn't install the Graco base in the center because of the long buckle stalk. Not sure how it would do with other seats, but even with twisting, the base was still not centered and the seatbelt was too bunched for my liking. I also wasn't a fan of the weird overlap on the opposite side like you mentioned.
Test drove this. Everything about this car was perfect, except for the seats. They were uncomfortable

Thanks for sharing ... but as a pair with schoolenglish (motherlanguage is german) it is difficult to understand, because you are speaking much to fast 🙄 🤔 ... We like the new Tucson so much, that we ordered a Plug-in-Hybrid in Prime-Version and color "Teal Blue", hoping it will be delivered end of 2021 ! Before we drove 13 years a BMW X3 3.0 Diesel. Now the cut to a very young car with many features and the chance to run 62 kilometers bei Electric engine; we mostly drive short distances, so it will be good! ... We can't await to get our TUCSON 🚙 !!!! Greetings from the middle of Germany ;o)) 🤗🍀🌻

Did not mention back seat vent and/or sun shades or lack of.
There is backseat vents on center console but not own temp control set for whatever driver side is set for. No sunshades but in limited windows are tinted darker.
That is the best package. An SEL with convenience package is the one they have
why don't you try to set car seat in the middle and let us know how comfortable 2 adult sitting in the back with car seat in the middle?

I got the white SEL with convenience + premium + cargo packages. It was great instead of getting the limited with a lot of extras. I would like to see if you can put 3 front facing car seats in the back

Don't worry. I have this in limited trim and love it. If you want a bit more power and better mileage go with one of the hybrid version. But, for me the non hybrid is just fine
@@kuleenmetz3218 I know when i test drove it, it had plenty of power! It merged great on the interstate and got up pretty quickly in my opinion. I am coming from a Chevy Cruze that had a turbo, so I knew I wanted something that got up and went, with out lagging. I bought my Cruze in 2015 and it was totaled Feb 4th, been looking ever since. Everything is so over priced. I thought this was a great deal with all the bells & whistle minus leather seats.
